School

"Scarlett get up! Oh wake Travis up too! "yelled my mom from downstairs.

Ugh. First day of school, I'm already having to wake my brother up. "Yay".

I'm Scarlett then again you already knew that.This is my life story.I'm right now in a sticky situation and well you'll get to it later.

Anyway, I got up reluctantly and I got dressed in a black leather jacket, ripped jeans, and combat boots. I skipped putting on my makeup and brushed my hair.

I never liked my dark colored hair, I asked my mom once if I could dye it she sadly said no.

After I was done, I went to my stash of silly string, then I tiptoed to my brother's room. I opened the door slightly, Travis was snoring as usual. I went into his room, I left the door open just in case I would have to make a speedy escape when he woke up.I went to the side of the bed and said in a sweet voice.

"Travis, wake up."

"Can I just skip school? " He mumbled in his pillow.

"Haha hahaha. No." I said and sprayed him with silly string. "YOU LITTLE, " He yelled, I ran out of the room laughing as he ran after me.

I ran down the stairs holding my side.

"Scarlett you need to be nicer to Travis." My mom said.

"He does it to me and he's also older than me, " I argued.

"Just because he's older than you doesn't mean you should do that."

My brother came downstairs in a mussel shirt, jeans, and Nikes.

We all had breakfast, then there was a ring at the door. My mom went to go open the door it was a man with very pale skin. I didn't get to hear what they said because my mom went outside and closed the door behind her.

It was about five minutes later when she came back in. The problem with my mom is that unlike many people she doesn't show expressions even if something upsets her.

My brother and I got are things ready after breakfast and walked to school.

When we were walking my brother caught up with some of his friends. that always made me feel uncomfortable because last year Lucas asked me out and I said no. He wasn't there though luckily.

I am friends with some of them though because they are the brothers of some of my friends.

A few moments later I saw my friends running over to me.

When they got over to me Faith jumped on me and started to squeeze me, "I haven't seen you in for EVER."

As you can tell Faith gets very excited when she sees someone that she just saw last week.

"Faith you just saw Scarlett last week." said Sky.

Sky is very cool with a lot of things, which you must be if your friends with Faith.

We continued to walk to school. "Soooooo, who do you hope isn't going to be at school? " asked Faith.

"Ugh, you already know who I don't want to be at with. Dylan, but he sadly never misses school." Sky complained.

"Are you kidding me Zack is the worse, He's SO annoying." I complained.

"Nah, I don't like Seth. He's to serious and I guess annoying too." Faith said.

"Oh guys," Luke, my brother's friend, interrupted. "The boys your talking about their brothers go to this school."

"Oh who are we talking about now, Luke?" asked a voice from behind us.

I froze as my brother immediately turned around looking behind us.

It was scarier for us because we didn't know who they were and we were the people in the back, the closest to the others.

My brother gestured for us to get behind him, we walked as fast as we could to get safe away from the other people.

"Well, well, we'll big brother isn't a coward anymore is he.Taking care of is little sister and her friends, Scarlett I've heard a lot about you." The person smirked.

I finally knew who he was, Zack's older brother!

"Leave Scarlett and her friends out of this. Plus unlike you I can win a fight without help from my gang." My brother snapped back, "I hear Leo still hasn't recovered from that nasty bite, is that right Ethan? " My brother asked,

Luke coughed and pointed at us. "Oh, girls go ahead or you're going to be late for school." Travis said not looking at us.

"You still haven't told them wow great job, here I thought they knew. Let them stay they should know who they're brothers really are." Ethan smiled.

I looked at my brother questionably. What did he meant know who they are they're humans. "Go to school Scarlett, " Travis snapped.

I wanted to argue,  but at the same time I really wanted to get away. So I made an I'll talked to you later face, and walked away Sky and Faith following behind.

As we were walking away I heard the boys yelling at each other.

We walked all the way to school in silence, I was thinking over what I was going to say to Travis. Soon we arrived at school.

"I don't know about you guys,  but I'm going to be the only one to talk to their brothers about what happened back there? " Sky asked.

"Ugh,  Taylor doesn't tell me anything so your just going to tell me what they were talking about." Faith complained.

"Oh, my brother WILL tell me, even if it's the last thing he does." I said coldly.

"Ahhhh, Scarlett don't murder!!!" Faith yelled her eyes wide, "we could always ask Zack or Ethan right? "

"FAITH,  that's the smartest thing you've EVER said!!! " Sky squealed.

"Why thank yo- waitttt did you say smartest thing I've ever said. COME BACK HERE!!! " Faith yelled as she ran after Sky.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Your friends aren't the calmest considering what they are, " said a distinct voice from behind.

Sure enough I was Ethan and his gang.

I didn't have much time to look earlier, but now I could see who was in the gang. It was him, Dylan, Seth, both of their brothers,  and two others. The were all staring at me, when I looked beside Ethan and sure enough it was him, it was Zack.
