Sungyeol Early Life
Sungyeol has a younger brother called Lee Dae-Yeol. He graduated from Daekyung University where he majored in Applied Music with fellow band mates Hoya, Sunggyu and L.
He used to be in the acting part of SM Academy and currently learning English.He is known for his Cholding, or childlike antics. Due to his involvement in acting, Sungyeol appears to be all-round pop idol. He is loved by many fans of Korean Pop Idol.
Infinite and Infinite F
He made his debut as a member of Infinite in 2010 where he was first introduced as a vocalist of the boy band. Infinite performed their debut stage of Comeback Again on Mnet’s M! Countdown on June 10, 2010.
Sungyeol is the leader of Infinite F, a sub-unit of Infinite, he teamed with L and Sung Joong, which was officially announced at the One Great Step Returns encore concert. They performed the song “My Heart is beating” at the concert.
Filmography
He made his debut as an actor in 2011 with the drama, While You Were Sleeping. On October 21, 2013, Sungyeol alongside Nam Ji-hyu were cast as main characters, shy boy Gi-yeok and popular girl Min-ah respectively in the web drama, Please Remember Princess.
Sungyeol has starred in the KBS2 drama, Hi! School-Love On, alongside fellow Infinite member Nam Woo-hyun and rising child actress, Kim Sae-ron. This 20 episode drama aired once a week on Fridays at 20:55KST from July 11 to December 19, 2014. He was confirmed in the cast of the series D-Day in May 2015.
