Jake walked out of the bathroom when he heard the speakers announce, " Lockdown this is not a drill I repeat Lockdown"! When Jake heard that he started to freak out. Fear quickly consumed his body. He had no idea what was happing or if there really was a shooter. Jake tried to calm himself down. He looked left to right. All doors were shut with the lights off. He knew that the bathroom was the worst hiding place possible. So he decided to see if he could find a teacher patrolling the halls. It was dead silent as he wandered to hoping to find at least one teacher roaming the halls.
Then he heard someone coming down the hall. Screaming sounds came from down the hallway. Then each light bulb blew one by one. It was dark, not average dark he could not even see his own feet. All he could see was a white figure human like but walked on four legs coming fast as a hungry animal running towards him. Jake didn't believe what he saw. But he wasn't going to stay their like an idiot and get killed. He ran as fast he as ever run before. The monster climbed on the roof like a spider and screeched as he was running away. But somehow the monster had found a way to catch him. It violently landed on his body. His back hit the floor. Jake screamed for his life hoping someone would hear. The monster took out its claws and made a letter X on his forehead. Then everything faded as Jake felt dizzy.
He was suddenly in his room he jumped off his bed and screamed "Help"! "Whats wrong" said his roommate concerned. "Nothing just a silly dream" said Jake calming down. Jake put on an orange shirt and jeans. While, Ash was more of a sporty person and a big fan of basketball. "Hey do we have Computer science for class today" asked Ash his roommate while combing his black hair. "Yes I think so" replied Jake."Cool" said Ash. Then, Ash looked at him in surprise. His eyes wide like a cartoon character. " You okay Ash" asked Jake. Ash was a courageous extroverted person, Jake had never seen him this scared.
Ash was frozen his face in shock." Dude what were you dreaming about" Ash asked concerned. " Oh just a monster that made a mark on my head why did you ask" replied Jake. "Then why do I have a mark too, with the same dream of a monster chasing me" said Ash in a scared voice. Ash right part of his forehead had a letter X on it . They looked at each other in silence. Both confused yet terrified. Jake heart was thumping against its chest feeling like its about to come out. He was nervous wreck right now. Jake just stood their wondering how this was possible. Until, they decided we need to look this up now! Jake went on his laptop and typed red X marked on forehead. They clicked on a link and it read.
Mark in the shape of a letter X on forehead is related to paranormal activity with a spirit named Axe. Every one hundred years he invades 10 people's dreams and marks an X on their forehead. These are the ones he feast on. Axe kills by chopping off their head (With an axe obviously) then feasting on their body.Axe picks off only one per day. But only has a week. So only the lucky 3 will survive. During the first day they are taken and put to a test to see who will survive. Their has been several cases but no evidence as been shown that Axe has actually existed.
They both stared in disbelief of what's happing right now. "Well we are dead, gone done goodbye world" shouting Ash. "Calm down were fine we have not been taken, do you really believe in some silly monsters" said Jake trying to hide the fact that he was worried too. Jake looked at him straight in the eyes to assure him that they would be fine. "Lets just go to computer science and everything will be fine" said Jake in a calming voice. Both grabbed their bags and books. They walked together paranoid of what their future has in store for them.
