Bunk buddy

The list

[lilys POV]

This was my first time ever coming to this summer camp, and my first time going to a sleep away camp for the whole summer. A crowd formed around a lamppost and I made my way through it and saw a paper taped to the pole. It was a list of cabin numbers and roommates. There were 2 people per cabin, I slid my finger down the list to find my name, once I found it, I slid my finger to the right and saw who I was paired with. The name read 'sarah paulson: cabin A4' she sounds nice i guess. I started walking over to my cabin carrying my big duffle bag when someone jumped on my back nearly knocking me over.

"What the fuck!" I say turning around quickly.

The girl starts laughing loudly.

"I'm your cabin-mate!" She says with a smile

"Oh sorry for snapping at you like that. I'm lily" I say extending a hand out for her to shake.

We shake hands and walk into our cabin. We start to unpack our bags and sit in our beds on our phones. I was the top bunk and she was the bottom. I was taken off guard when a loud voice came on through the speakers that were placed in each cabin and around the camp.

"Good morning campers! You should all have found your cabin-mates and cabin numbers! Come to the cafeteria for breakfast and after there will be free time to roam the camp!" The head leader said over the intercom

Sarah and I talked as we walked our long walk to the cafeteria. We told each other about where we are from, our likes and dislikes, and everything in between. I could tell we were going to be good friends we had the same sense of humor.
