Background: Alexandria had lived in North Carolina her whole life, and grew up as a simple southern girl in her room reading a book. She always wanted to be an FBI agent or a local police officer. She begged and begged her mom to move to California so she could attend Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and of course her mom said no. Her mom wanted to move to Georgia and have a farm, but Alex (her nickname) just knew that she wasn't meant for southern living. She wanted to tour the world, and live in Los Angeles with a free spirit and a law degree. She got her grandma who was a widow to move with her to LA for a couple years to get the feel of LA before college, and her mother finally had said yes.

Present day(Alexandria is 16) Alex settled into her new house with her grandma, and was so excited for school and her completely new life. She wanted to completely change her appearance of sweet little girl to confident smart woman, and she imagined this year was the time to do it. Although she was only 16 in this big city, she knew she could do anything with the opportunities she has. She got into her pajamas and snuggled up tight thinking of what the next day would be like.

"Wake up my little angel!!" Her grandma hummed as she opened the door with a big tray of food.

"What's this Gramma?" She asks as she sits up.

"Well my little brainiac princess has to have some brain food before she goes."

She started eating her blueberry pancake and replied with a tiny smile.

After she ate she looked through her closet for clothes to where to school. "Wow I really need to go shopping!" She got changed into a cute sundress and quicky rode her bike to her new school. She didn't know which direction to go, and she got lost a few times. She ran into class a few minutes late and bursted in the door with embarrassment because everyone looked at her.

"Ms. Porter, would you care to tell me why you are late?"

"Great the teacher already hates me" Alex thought. "Um... Um.. I'm new here." Alex stumbled with her words.

"I know"-

"Cut her some slack Mr. Andrews, she is new can't you see?" A handsome young man said interrupting the teacher. The teacher stopped talking, and motioned for her to sit down in the seat next to the mystery guy.

"Uh, thanks I thought I wasn't getting out of that one, haha" She said putting her bookbag down then rubbing her neck.

"Oh no problem, Mr. Andrews is always like that, you'll get used to it." The boy replied. He turned back to face the front of the class room before awkwardly leaning in towards her desk.

"So, uh, what is your name?" He asked.

"Oh I'm Alexandria." She said as she accidentally dropped her pencil. As she bent over she could feel his eyes on her butt, but she liked the attention so she didn't speak about it. When she sat back in her seat she realized he was still staring so she coughed to give him a hint.

"Oh, uh.. I'm sorry" he stuttered.

"It's okay, guys only think with their junk anyways. And your name is?" She asked through a laugh.

"I'm Grayson, and I promise I'm not one of those guys!" He reassured her.

"Are you two love birds done talking, or do I need to move you?" Mr. Andrews joked. The whole class laughed.
