Chapter 7

Our first night at the new house was crazy.

Pey didn't want to go to bed because she just wanted to look at everything.

I really had decorated every single thing in the house.

I wanted it to be perfect just like her.

When she finally decided that she was tired, I put her on my back and gave her a piggy-back ride to our room.

I plopped her on the bed and rolled under the covers.

For a while we just sat under the covers and stared at each other.

I looked right into her eyes and told her I loved her.

She started laughing and said, " Oh Texas"

I loved when she called me that. She is the corniest person I know.

It's obviously because of Dallas in case you didn't know.

Before I knew it, she was asleep so I kissed her forehead and wrapped my arms around her.

Sleep took over me moments later and I dreamed about our future.
