Hello this is my new story I will be working on, and the main character (i imagine looking like) is in the photo above!
"Something tells me I'm going to love him forever" -anon
Cassie
I walked up the steps of the school, dreading the day ahead of me. I turned the corner, only to become face-to-face with someone. She was brunette with one blonde streak and kind brown eyes. She walked with a sort of strut, and chewed on her peppermint gum. To her side stood a tall blonde boy, who wore a football jersey.
"Oh I'm sorry," She put her hand on my shoulder. "You must be the new girl! I'm Anna and this is Cole." Her voice was soft and she smiled sweetly at me.
"Hi I'm Cassie" I said quietly. I bit my lip and awkwardly stood in front of them. The boy stared at me with a look of admiration. I put my head down, suddenly not feeling so confident.
"I would be happy to show you to your classes. And I'm sure Cole wouldn't mind either?" She looked at him and he shook his head, then smiled.
"Ok" I smiled brightly and adjusted my backpack.
We walked down a hallway full of excited kids and couples making out. Gross. People smiled at Anna, and girls drooling over Cole. They seemed to be popular, and I felt just the opposite. I knew I'd have a hard time adjusting here.
"Now Cassie, where'd you move from?" Cole asked, looking down at me.
"Upper east side," They stared at me, puzzled. "New York."
They ooo'd and ahh'd at what I had said. What was so interesting about New York?
"I heard there's good stores." Anna said to me, and I nodded.
"Hundreds. You name it, they have it." She giggled, and turned a corner. I followed them, only to see them heading for a big group of people. I bit my lip and immediately became nervous. The butterflies formed in my stomach, and I felt as if I were on a rollercoaster. I was scared, anxiety kicking in.
"Zack!" Anna called out, and a boy turned to her. God was he handsome. Short brown hair and dazzling brown eyes. He sure was eye candy. Yet, I looked to his side and saw a girl next to him. She dressed in shorts with cowboy boots, and reeked of last season Chanel perfume. "I have someone for you to meet."
"Cassie, this is Zack. Zack, this is Cassie." He extended his arm toward me and I slowly reached my hand out.
"Nice to meet you. You have pretty eyes." He winked, and I blushed a bright crimson. Damn, I'm embarrassing myself. He turned around and gently grabbed the brunettes arm. "This is Madi, my best friend."
She was beautiful, she had deep dimples and curly waves for hair. He reached his arm around her shoulder, and stood in front of me. His tall and muscular body, towering over my small and petite one. He was clearly a football player with broad shoulders, and massive biceps. To sum it up, he was a woman's dream. I had then realized he reached his hand out, and I raised my eyebrows at him. He nodded his head toward the schedule in my hand, and I set it in his palm.
"Looks like I have first with her, so I'll take it from here Anna," She nodded her head, and continued to speak to Cole. He pushed away from Madi, and slid his arm across my shoulder.
"So I heard you're a New Yorker, huh?" I chuckled and nodded my head.
"Yeah if thats what you wanna call it," He looked down at me and smiled, making my stomach erupt in butterflies.
"Well, welcome to Colorado!" He said in a girly voice, making me laugh. His sense of humor was cute, but nothing close to his laugh. But, it was too good to be true. One of his friends called his name, and his arm immediately slipped away. He stepped away from me, and walked the opposite direction. I stood in the hallway feeling confused and lost. I sighed, and continued on through the hallway.
"Nothing like being ditched on the first day," I whispered to myself.
