If my life was a story

Chapter 1- My best friend

As I stare straight in the distance I feel my heart breaking for my best friend even though they are the one dying.

~Backround~

I walk into the hospital doors with my dad in hand joining my family. My mom isn't there and I sit there confused. My dad looks at me with sad eyes and says," Everything is okay, just stay here. I love you".

I sit there patiently with my two brothers next to me and my grandparents and aunts on the opposite side of the waiting room.

About 30 minutes later my dad walks down the hallway with a long face. Depression wipes over him as if it was normal to him.

He walks over and calls my brothers and I. We work our way to the elevator avoiding the stairs because my dad can barely walk.

We reach a room and go in. I see my mom. The room is quite dark and I see why my dad is so sad. My mom is sitting there in a hospital gown with a sad look in her face. They sit us down and my dad says," This is hard to say, but your mom has stomach cancer."

Shock flashes over me as a realize the last events of the last week.

~ I walk down the stairs hearing the songs of pain. I see my mom bent down over the couch. Still making sounds and holding on to her stomach. She looks up at me with bags under her eyes. She actually looks old. For once. The wrinkles outline her smile and her forehead making her seem 60. She tries to smile but she screams in pain once more. I cringe at the sound. I run for my dad and he takes my best friend to the hospital. She's been like this for weeks. In pain. And I hadn't noticed.~

Authors note - Hi. I'm not the best writer but I'm trying. This is my first chapter so it won't be the very best. I'll try to make it more interesting but for the most part this story will be quite depressing. My life isn't very happy if I'm being quite honest. So sit back and enjoy my life story. And by the way. I know this chapter is basically my description but with a flashback but I couldn't think of what else to do. 😄😄
