olivia ryder was a broadway star. anyone who knew anything about broadway, even the slightest bit, knew who olivia ryder was. and if you didn't know who she was, you were living under the largest rock in history.

the strangest thing was, olivia was only thirteen. most adults weren't even that successful on broadway at thirteen. it's not like she was 'stranger things' famous. god, no. she doubted the 'stranger things' cast even knew she existed.

most everybody adored her. she was modest, honest, charming, everything one could ask for.

thousands of people has asked the young girl why she didn't audition for something on the small screen, maybe even the silver screen. her answer every time was "broadway is my passion. i would never leave it for anything. the only way i'd leave would be if i were cast in a tv or movie adaptation of a musical. or just a movie or tv musical, which i've already done." and that would be that.

her career revolved around musicals. she started performing at eight years old, was playing the role of debbie wilkinson in billy elliot the musical on tour. at eleven she had been cast as the title role of matilda in the movie adaptation of 'matilda the musical', after playing the role on broadway for about a year. now she been cast as winnie foster in the movie adaptation of 'tuck everlasting', after originating the role in atlanta and on broadway.

they were filming it in canada, right over from where they were filming the remake of the stephen king novel 'it'. in fact, the 'it' cast knew a lot about olivia. after all, she had been in matilda.

one cast member that knew more than all of his fellow cast members about olivia, even before he met her, was jaeden lieberher.
