Chapter 1-Meet my other half

" Well Elsa! " Jack, my best friend bursts into my and Annas bedrooom.

" God Jack, privacy invasion much ? " I roll my eyes.

" Ah , I don't need to knock! You know me as well anything you know " he laughs, pinching my cheeks carelessly. He seriously confuses me.

I groan and eye his appearance cautiously.  He tends to wear weird pixey-like clothes along with his strange white hair. The one thing, I like best about him is his eyes.

Jack is friendly enough with Anna but me and him? We're like siblings .He literally sleeps over 3 times a week and the days he is not allowed, he visits and stays till late. I love him for that. He's really loyal and kind, although he does play tricks a lot and messes. I've known since I was 4 and now, I couldn't live without him.

Whereas Kristoff and Anna are more best friends . They're really close, playing jokes and laughing all the time. Giggling, i shudder. It's laughable at how Kristoff and Jack are merely companions not as much very close even though they see each other a lot.

Anna and myself are at a halt in our friendship. She gets on my nerves from time so I nearly always push her away. . I know she secretly hates me for it, she'd love to be sisterly friends, hanging out together or whatever. But I can't.  I feel guilty all the time but she stresses me and pushes and pushes until she gets answers or what she wants. And I won't get angry. I cannot afford to.

Jack listens and jokes and is carefree. I can even talk about my life to him. Cringe

I feel he understands. But one thing is for sure, I can't tell him everything. In case he gets hurt.

" You okay, El ? " Jack focuses on me.

" Yup, of course!!! Never been better!!! " I yell with a fake smile.

Maybe a bit over the top. Curse stupid bad thoughts.

Jack raises his eyebrows. " You sure? "

I nod grinning toothily.

" Ok-kay.....oooh do you want to watch YouTube? Did you see the the epic fails of building snowmen?  It's got like 2 million likes!! " Jack changes the subject as he knows how I cover up and don't like to be questioned.

Building snowmen?  Fun.......snow, whirl, blizzard, parents, gone.....snowflakes, snowmen, ....death

" HELP , I CAN'T SEE !! "

" DARLING, IT'S FINE, COVER YOUR EYES !!! "

" NOOO OH IT HURTS...ELSA MAKE IT STOP! "

" Elsa!!! " Jack comforts me. Jack yes Jack , not snow.....

" AGH I CAN'T BREATHE!....! "

" Elsa , theres nothing there , it's ok, please Elsa , your fine, there's nothing there " Jack is obviously shocked staring at me.

" Ja-jaa..Jack? " I say wavering.

" Yes, s'ok Elsa, just relax yeah? " he soothes.

It seems like only a minute before he looks at me again.

" Elsa, what happened? " he whispers.

I shrug , staring at the floor. " Nothing "

" That wasn't nothing! You freaked out! It scared me. Just tell me. I know you know. " he croaks.

" Stop Jack! Your not meant to be this pushy! Leave me alone!! " I scream, standing up.

" I only care about you!! I want to know why your acting like this!! What did I do? Just tell me! " Jack pulls me on my bed and we sit beside eachother in silence.
