It was a calming night when Delilah was soaring through the cool air. She was annoyed because she wanted to help others and show her friends how strong she really was. Delilah was lonely that night, she felt empty inside as if something was missing in her life. She continued to soar through the meadow she always visits when she is feeling upset and decided to explore the place a little more. Delilah heard chirping from for up ahead thinking it was some kind of bird. She ignored it for a while but it continued and as she was flying the chirping got louder. And louder, until the point Delilah got very annoyed. She started to fly in the other direction until she heard a high pitch, distressed screech. What ever it was that the noises was coming from she knew it was in trouble. Delilah quickly flew in the direction of the commotion and ended up flying to a fairly big mountain range that was in the meadows. She flew quietly trying to keep hidden and heard another sound. It was growling from another dragon. Delilah thought for a moment. Should she investigate further? Maybe it was simply hunting some bird. The chirping and the squeaking was so distressful to Delilah she roared to the top of her lungs to try and scare the dragon away. It worked as the unknown dragon as black as night flew away startled and terrified. Delilah smirked with the fact she scared away an adult dragon with her mighty roar. She circled around and landed to see what the dragon was attacking. She was horrified with what she saw. On the cave floor was a, now dead, adult Dutch Angel Dragon. Delilah never thought she would see one before. She walked over and nudged the dutchie. Nothing. It was definitely dead and soaked in blood. Delilah grew angry that the unknown dragon had killed the dutchie that laid before her and that she wasnt in time to save it. Delilah bowed her head to give her condolence to the dead dutchie. Then a small chirp echoed through the cave. As Delilah lifted her head up she saw a baby dutchie walk slowly to the dead mother. Delilah was shocked to see the baby still alive. It might have found a small tunnel to hide in. Tears flowed down the baby dutchie's face as it cried for its mother. Grief filled Delilah.

"Shhh....there there little one. you are safe now. I will care for you. and i will avenge you and you mother. Come, let us head to your new home.........do you like adventures? Echo?"

The dutchie chirped in response.
