Purposefully Cringey

CHAPTER ONE MUAHAHAHAHAH

A/N: Yes I decided that I am a terrible and cringey writer so why not express it. It's just going to be a short story probably only this chapter. Inspired by TheSmurfDad . Here is some background about how this came to be and some things you need to know.
So me and SeamlessCorey convinced him to create a Wattpad because he's a talented writer. Well we got to texting and we were telling him not to read our stories because they were really bad and cringey and I said that I was going to write a cringey story just for him if he was going to insist on reading my works. Sparkles is an unicorn that he got me for my birthday (friend goals I know 😊) and I named it Sparkles because that's what I call him and so I gave them a choice between a cringey fanfic and a story about Sparkles the unicorn. And this story was born! Also he is Sparkles the third because Sparkles the First is TheSmufDad and Sparkles the second is my stuffed unicorn (who is a girl) and so that makes this Sparkles the third. Also King Flamingo is inspired by a friend of ours and Queen Peanut is inspired by SeamlessCorey Hope you enjoy this!

I ran down the beach the wind blowing in my rainbow hair. The beach was perfectly moon lit. It's my favorite spot to just let loose and run. Hi I'm Sparkles The Third. Sparkles the Unicorn. Yep you read right. Unicorn. I love to run with the feeling of the wind in my hair. I live in Unitopia a magical land far away filled with rolling hills of the greenest grasses, rainbows and clouds that touch the ground. It's a wonderful place to live. The land is ruled over by King Flamingo (he's just called that because hes a pink unicorn) and Queen Peanut. They have a daughter Princess Gum Drop. I'm in love with the princess but who isn't. Good news is she's in search for a prince. I doubt that I could ever be good enough to be chosen as a prince. Although Prince Sparkles the third sounds nice. And today I might get that title. All the male unicorns are being called to the castle to win the princesses hand in marriage. As I prance up to the castle I start to feel butterflies in my stomach. I approach the castle and begin to feel self conscious. All of these other male unicorns look so strong and handsome. I shake these feelings away as we enter the castle. The king and Queen enter and we all bow. "Welcome gentlemen today you will go through a series of tests." If you would follow me now." She lead us to a huge open field where various tests were set up. "Your first test is strength" Oh no. "First up we have Sparkles the third." I walk up to the Queen and bow. "Okay now go to the weights and lift as much as you can but start out with 1 pound and move up as high as you can." I easily lifted the one pound, then 2, then three until I hit 30 then I could not lift anymore. "Okaaaayyy next we have Trotles." the next unicorn lifted up to 120 pounds. I stood in awe and sorrow that I had already failed the first test. We then went through more tests on strength, artistic ability, sword fighting, ect... We then came to the final test. and that was speed. We were competing in a race. I had a feeling I could at least do well in this one. The race started, to my luck it was on the beach my favorite place to run. I ran and ran as fast as I could and finally I crossed the finish line others far behind me. I did it! I won! "Now for the moment that you all have been waiting for the moment the Princess chooses." We will call you all back to the castle when she has made her decision. I walked out of the castle sure she was going to pick Trotles. He was strong, good looking, despite his name he was perfect for the Princess. But, I waited and waited. Weeks went by before we were all called to return to the castle. We all waited in the grand hall of the castle. The Princess arrived and we all bowed waiting in suspense. "I have made my decision. Thank you for coming out to compete for my hoof in marriage. But the time has come where we see who the lucky gentlemen is. I have chosen Prince Sparkles The Third to be my Prince." I looked up and shock and walked up to the girl of my dreams and bowed. It wasn't until a year later however that we got married and lived happily ever after. The End

A/N Hope you enjoyed that story! It was not as cringey as I hoped it was kinda cute I think. Good children story maybe. But while I am here I don't know if I announced this yet but I am working on a new story You Again. So stay tuned for that because I am not posting it until it is finished.
