It all started with the sound of yelling. It was a sound known to Josh, but when he awoke in his home, he was too late. He could smell the smoke in the air already... They had set fire to his home. He shook his wife awake, and they counted their precious seconds as the flame got larger, brighter. They gathered all they needed, the house nearly engulfed by that point. Creaks and moans echoed in the surrounding woods. It was evident the house would collapse shortly. Once everything was collected, they chose to flee through the window in the back of the home. As Josh exited through the back window, he turned to help his wife as well. He almost had her in his arms, before the roof caved in on her, ending her life within mere minutes. Josh ran, leaving behind an angry mob, and the screams of his wife.
