Errrrrrr. Errrrrrr.
My phone buzz to the alarm I set. I squint open my eyes to little to no light coming in my window. I ascend from my bed and take a glance at my phone.
Six o'one? Damn, okay.. I overslepted by eleven minutes. But even so I'm still not gonna be exactly late. I guess I'll just shower tonight instead.
I pace around my room while getting dressed, my bag ready for my classes, and texting my best friend, Brandon. By the time I was done and ready it was already six thirty-eight.
' Hey, where are you? 😐' I shoot him a text.
He replies, ' Miss me already? 😉😘'
I scoff and text back,' Nope, not you. Lol. I just need a ride, Asshole. 😒'
' Aww come on now. You know yah love me. 😉' He flirts.
I laugh and type, ' Do I though? 🤔'
' Fine, no ride then. 😏'
That bastard thinks he'll fucking win. Well not today, Brandon. Not today.
' Fuck. You.' I type him back pissed off and ready to fight a bitch.
' When and where?' Brandon sends.
I stopped texting him and slammed my ass on my couch. That asshat, messing with me once again. My phone buzzed in my hand. I pull it out to check it. And sure enough it's Brandon saying he is almost here. Haha! I have won another battle thanks to my stubborn ass attitude.
I walk outside to his sleek black car that seem really expensive, but in reality wasn't. He bought it off his older sister's boyfriend two years ago. Yet he treats it like he married the thing. And this is why he has yet to get an actual girlfriend that will actually understand his love for that damn junk of a car.
" Hey kid, you ready for school?" He asks me as he opens the passenger door for me.
I laugh, " Hell no, but we got to go anyways so whatever. Let's go."

I watch out the window as all the trees and houses past by us. Complete silence until Brandon decides to put on the radio. Must Have Been The Wind comes on and I get entranced by the lyrics. He puts his hand on my shoulder and rubs his thumb over my shoulder bone.
I turn to him and he quickly gives me his signature 'Are you okay? ' look. I smile at him. He continues to stare at the road ahead, while I peer back at the window.
Autumn has arrived just around the corner. August is now filled with orange and red leaves that cover almost every tree in the neighborhood. You can't escape the wind tho. I watch as the wind outside the car blows at the trees we pass.
At least it isn't raining on our first day back for Senior year. Don't get me wrong, I love rain. But today is not the day to drench me with water droplets.
I look up at the school building as Brandon pulls his car into a close-ish parking spot. I hop out and grab my cloth messenger bag filled with buttons from the back seat. He locks the doors and we walk up to the building with hope we don't die before end of first period.

Now if your school has that one teacher you can actually like, here that would be Mr. Giesler. Mr. Giesler was my photography one and probably the only teacher I actually would openly admit I like here. His teaching are amazing and incredibly fun.
Not to mention the first teacher I told about me being bisexual. I figured out back freshman year I was pretty much into girls like I was about guys. Mr. Giesler was the only openly gay teacher I had, so I talked to him. He gave me the best advice and even helped me with creative ways to tell my parents.
So I entered my first class with a smile knowing I had Mr. Giesler again for photography two. I sat down in the back of the class. And watch as the time passed by. But here we are, our first day of Senior year. I look around at the kids in my class and ask myself, 'What the fuck happened?'
