"Hurry Robyn!" Harriet called. My mind came back to Earth and remembered what we were doing."I say we have twenty minutes 'till the Dutchess comes back," I followed the sound of her feet shuffling along the vent, trying to see through the cracks in the wall. Suddenly she stopped and pushed her back against my face."Shhh..." Down below I heard voices and made out some words.

"Ahh yes, Robyn.....The Jeffersons...How preposterous!....Well, Brutus, I believe Robyn is just going to have to deal with that..." I gasped, hand over mouth and listened for more. "...What do you mean she shouldn't go with them? I don't care! She's going to be one less mouth to feed."

CLANK

"Harriet..."I whispered. "What was that?" I could feel her shaking and I started to shiver too. She picked up her feet and turned to me. "Don't look down." I've always hated when people say that. It only makes you wonder what is 'down' and, DAMN IT I LOOKED DOWN!!

Right between my legs was a rat, very much alive. It sniffed my pleats and nibbled on the belt. Before I could scream Harriet put her hand over my mouth and nudged her foot at the rat. It scurried off squeaking. "Brutus, did you hear that? ....it's coming from the vent..." Harriet signaled me to move but I remained frozen.

"It sounds like a rat.... let me get my pistol..." Slowly I moved my feet backward. Harriet followed behind. "You try to track it and I'll shoot..."

Soo... this is just a test. If you want me to continue I will. I know I keep on leaving stories like Welcome to Hell and The Last Of The Meifwa but I just run out of ideas. So comment here if I should continue this, or if you have ideas for the other books I mentioned.

That's all folks.
