One time in a far away land a baby was born. She was crying when she came into the world and melted the hearts of those around her. Sadly, this warmth and happiness could and would not last. For the mother of this child had a mind consumed of guilt. The father of the child pleaded for the mother to change her mind. But, it was not meant to be. With tears in their eyes the young parents decided to send away their baby girl. The baby was unaware of the events that were taking place and playfully grabbed at mother's long, silky, dark brown hair. Tears fell onto the baby's hand and she looked up expectant of rain. The baby was instead met with the faces of her two crying parents. Suddenly, the baby feeling the sadness also began to cry. The family made its way down the winding allies and finally stopped. The mother kissed her daughter one last time and the father ruffled what hair was on the baby's head, and the baby stopped crying and smiled at her parents.

The moment was a sad kind of happy...

Then the mother handed her daughter to a different woman who smelled like baby powder. The woman said, "We'll take good care of her." Then with that the parents turned and walked away. That was the last the child would see of her parents. Even then, this moment would not be remembered by the infant for she was only a baby.
