Broken

Chapter 1

        Today was the day that I move into my new house; since I'm now able to live on my own.

"This will be my new beginning", I said out loud as I begin to carry my belongings into my house.

                                                                            3 hours later

         Since most of my big furniture was already in my house it didn't take to long to unpack my things.

      I was now done and ready to relax until there was a knock on my door so I got up even though I didn't really want to.

       As I opened the door, a guy that looked near my age stood in front of me.

"Hey I'm Cameron Dallas and I'm your neighbor", he said while holding his hand in front of me.

"I'm Alana Martinez, nice to meet you Cameron", I said as I shook his hand.

"Do you want to come inside", I said as I took a step back.

"Sure thank you", he said as he came in and followed me to the living room.

       We sat down and just begin to talked about little things like how the town is nice and small and about the places that we have visited. As we talked I begin to pay more attention to him, like how his eyes were a beautiful brown and the smile he had on his face. Wait,what has got into me? I don't even know him that well.

"Well I should get going Alana it's getting late", he said as he began to stand up make his way to the door.

"Have a great night", I said as I walked behind him.

"You too Alana and thank you for inviting me inside", he said as he walked away and waved bye.

I shut my door and made my way to my way upstairs so I could get ready for bed.

         As I was done with my shower and was dressed and ready for bed i went to go make sure my window were close; but when i got to my window I could see Cameron in the house across from me looking through his window. He was just standing still like a statue, so I waved my hands and he didn't seem to move he just kept looking straight at me; so I quickly closed my window and closed the curtains. As i got into bed all that was on my mind was the way Cameron was just looking like that, looking as if he was in a trance. I wanted to know why, but I will probably never find out.
