Chapter 1:Dreams, dreams

"I love you," He pinched my cheeks as we cuddled in bed. I giggled. I always feel like I'm on cloud nine whenever he says that. He never fails to create a gazillion butterflies in my stomach.

"I love you too." I hugged him tight and embraced his warmth, thinking of the places we went, and our favourite place, Golden Coastline-the perfect beach for getaways. 

I woke up and groaned. It wasn't the first time I dreamt of it. It's frustrating how I keep having the same dream every night.

I got out of bed and rushed my morning routine again, furiously blending the concealer under my eyes. College got me looking like a zombie despite the long summer break that had just ended yesterday.

"Hey," Natalie sat beside me in the cafeteria. "How's your first lesson after summer break?"

"God, don't even mention it. Having maths lesson for the first lesson of the day can't be any worse." I rolled my eyes.

She laughed and took a huge mouthful of her omelette. "Remember our class used to be so unlucky to have maths every Monday morning back in high school?" 

"Oh yeah, it was Mr Walter's class?" I glanced up from my sandwich to look at her. She nodded. 

"I guess you're still unlucky," She chuckled at my scoff. 

"I'm still having the same dream every night." I frowned.

"That sweeet dream with a hot guy?"

"Dude, since when did I say he's a hot guy? I merely said that he is muscular, from what I remember."

"He seems like one." She gave me her signature pedo-smile.

"See ya." We stood up and waved goodbye as the bell rang.

I was writing my English notes in Mrs Elliot's class when that dream came into my mind.

I felt as though it was some sort of hint or something, or perhaps a peek of my previous life. It has got to be connected to me somehow, be it a past or previous life, I'm determined to find out.
