Eden Eternal: The adventure begins

Chapter 1: Limestone Mountain

I woke up in a strange house, I hold my head and moaned. "What happened?" I saw some clothes on a chair begging to be put on by someone when I woke up. I put them on and walked to a mirror, and saw myself in it. I wore clothes, the clothes I wore were a scarf that covered my neck and part of my shoulders were covered and the rest of it was to my back, shoes that were up to my knees, a sleeveless shirt, gloves that went half way up to my arms, and a bandanna. I grabbed the bandanna and put it on, I looked ridiculous with it on, I took the bandanna off and tucked it in my pocket. I was still tired, I wanted to go back to sleep on that nice soft heavenly bed that I slept in with no memory of what happened and fall back to sleep but there was no time for that for some reason. I needed to get some air from this room. The bright shine of the sun made me squint my eyes, I saw a woman standing outside next to the house, I walked up to her shyly, she saw me and said. "Hello my dear boy, you're awake I take it?" She said smiling down at me. " How did you slept, my dear boy?" Her voice was soft and her tone talking to me was kind and smooth, I looked up at her holding my head and answered back. "I slept good miss....my head just hurts and um miss........what happened and where am I?" She smiled and said in her kind soft voice. " You're in Limestone Mountain. What happened was that you child was found in a blue crystal that had tremendous power, TOO tremendous that one of our miners from this village used all his strength to break the crystal and got you out and brings you to my little house." She said still smiling. Oh, that's why my head was hurting like crazy. I hold my head a little longer and she answered me again. "Can you remember anything yet child?" She said in a censored voice. I looked up at her and answered "Yes, my names Zen..." I said smiling a bit. The lady nodded " I'm Madam Cynthia" she said introducing herself.  I nodded and I looked around the village. there was a mine south of the Madam Cynthia's house, there were shops east and west of her house, armor and weapon shops all around. There were some traveling merchants setting shops as well. I saw a huge bright red bridge north leading out of the village, I waved at Madam Cynthia and walk out of the village. 

I saw a vast land of... mushrooms??? "what the hell??" I watched the mushrooms as they hopped along the plains. "I must be going nuts...." I rubbed my eyes and saw them again. nope! I'm not going nuts!! they're actually there! I wondered around the plains thinking to myself What the hell, Are these mushrooms actually moving?!  I decided to poke one on the head, yeah.... BAD IDEA. The mushrooms started attacking me! holy shit I didn't know that these were going to attack me! I ran for the hills running like the wind, I ran till my legs gave and tumbled to the edge of the hill. Dazed I stagger to my feet, I couldn't feel my legs, I look back and saw the mushrooms coming down after me. I tried to run but my legs gave after tumbling down the hill. The mushrooms attacked me slamming into my left and right forward and backward, I couldn't stand or fight back, was I going to die here? Was this my grave? I was just starting to explore this world, I don't my story to end here... "Someone help me!!" After that, the world went black. I woke up holding my head, "What happened....?" my head hurts tremendously. I looked around and those mushrooms were gone. I saw a boy he looked like my age.....or...whatever... He looked at me smiling with relief. "You're alive, good, here take this." he threw a  bottle at me with some strange red liquid. "what's this?" I looked at it some more and dared to take it, The boy smiled looking pleased that I took it. After I drank it I chucked it at him making a disgusted look. "BLEH! what was that?! It tasted like raw meat!" the boy dodged it still having his stupid smile, "It's a potion dummy, it restores your health, here, take the blue one as well." He handed me another bottle with blue liquid this time... "It's sweet." I looked at him smiling, sweets I loved, any kind of sweets. "Yup!" the boy said. "Oh, by the way, my name's Vaex, nice to meet you." Vaex smiled putting a handout. I smiled back "I'm Zen, it's good to meet you Vaex." I smiled shaking his hand. Vaex handed me a pair of two daggers, "Here, you'll need it" I took the daggers and put them by my waist. "Those mushrooms that attack you were red cap mushroids... They're basically harmless, don't know what you did to piss them off." Vaex laughed at me wondering what I did to piss off the red cap mushroids.... I laughed sarcastically. "Very funny Vaex..." I kept laughing sarcastically until Vaex pushes me outta the way from a raging ox. "What the hell Vaex?!" I didn't know why he pushed me until I saw the rampaging ox. My eyes widened with fear, holy shit if Vaex wasn't here I'd been dead, thank god for that... the ox turned back to me, I stared at it, bringing the daggers that Vaex gave me. "Why would a sharp horn yak be after you Zen?" Vaex said pulling up his bow with the first line of arrows. I shook my head telling myself "Get your head outta the clouds Zen, you gotta fight this thing..." The sharp horn yak charged aiming its horns at me, I didn't have time to dodge, shit! The horns rammed into my chest making me gasp for air. The sharp horn yak slammed me into a tree down the plains, Vaex shot the first arrow at it, it didn't pay attention at Vaex, it didn't worry about him, it only cared about me. It slammed its horns into my chest over and over again, I tried my best not to scream but I couldn't help it, I just gotta scream. As the sharp horn yak slammed repeatedly into me with its sharp horns, I let out a raspy scream, Vaex shot three arrows at the yak and finally, it looked at Vaex. "Yes! Zen, here!" Vaex threw the potion with the red liquid that tasted like raw meat. I grabbed it out of the air. I try to stand up but couldn't, that yak did a number on me..... Vaex ran out in the open with the sharp horn yak on his tail, "shit shit shit!" Vaex jumped out of the sharp horn yaks way and fired a second wave of arrows at the yak. The yak charges at Vaex at incredible speed, how can a yak move at that speed?! I quickly got up and rushed to Vaex, when I got to Vaex he was in a tight jam with the sharp horn yak. The yak kept coming at him, full speed. I wanted to help him but I kept breathing hard the last time the yak attacked me. "Zen! help me!" Vaex yelled looking at me. I grabbed my daggers and ran up to the yak and ambush the beast. The sharp horn yak cried out a roaw and fell to the ground, Vaex puts his bow back on his back and grabs a small pouch. "hey, it's full of potions... nice!" Vaex said putting the bottles of potions in his backpack. I saw a crate by Vaex and I headed to it opening it. I saw a robe? weird... I pulled it out and looked at it, must be for someone who uses robes. I put the robe into my backpack. "what did you found Zen?" Vaex said walking to my direction. I looked at him and showed him the robe just before I put it into my backpack. "just in case we're low on cash Vaex... we can sell this" Vaex nodded and hold out a hand to me. I took his hand and he lifted me up to my feet. Then we started to walk down to a little pond.
