       Her life changed when she met him. She used to be the girl no one noticed, that nobody talked to. Yeah, she didn't exactly talk to them either, but that's because she just didn't like talking to people. She always minded her own business, as did they. She doesn't know how she was the one whom he took notice of first.
He was popular. Everyone knew him, everyone was friends with him. Literally every girl dreamed to be with him, you could practically see them foaming at the mouths. Yet, he didn't choose any of them. He chose her.

He had everything but her; that's all he wanted. Everyday he'd see her walk down the halls–alone. He couldn't determine if that was what she wanted or just how she lived.
       Love; a simple term that he couldn't wrap his head around. Girls constantly said they loved him, but his heart was only out for one.

                              * * *

Being captain of the football team wasn't easy. Girls chasing after him left and right, random guys picking fights, shit like that. Although, he was after the girl who was as slow as a tortoise–in her mind.
       He was a constant flirt; it was part of the gig with his character. Though he flirted with his love constantly, she never seemed to accept his love.

                             * * *

She didn't know how to deal with her parents' death. It had come out of nowhere, unexpectedly. Having no one to turn to, she felt completely and utterly alone. No one could possibly know how she felt. Not one person she knew had been through what she had.
It wasn't until she met him that she could feel safe and comforted. He was the one who cared for her, always listened to her. Yet, she was afraid to let him in. Afraid to love him.

* * *

       Getting into Harvard was her dream; she strived towards it. School was her number one focus in life. She had friends and a life outside of her education, sure, but her grades were important to her. If she didn't get into her dream school, her life would be ruined.
       Things were taking their course, when she was forced to be science partners with him. He was the angsty bad boy, her the good girl focused on school. She never could've guessed that she would get attached; it was when she realized she loved him that it all went to ruin.

                               * * *

       No one understood him. He was the lonely kid no one talked to. His life was a mess; his parents didn't get him at all, he didn't have friends, and he was constantly made fun of for having blue hair. When he saw her, his heart had stopped; she was gorgeous and way out of his league.
       When she first spoke to him, she wasn't happy. They were forced into a project both of them knew he would never even bother to look at, considering his habit of skipping class and turning in half-done assignments. But when they grew closer, his life turned around; he was happy for the first time in years.
