I hate moving..this is literally the worst I don't want to be the new kid in school the girl whom all eyes were on it sucked. I haven't spoken to my mom or my step dad since we got in the car and started our way to bay view Rhode Island. I hate them more than anything,they knew how amazing my life was in Wisconsin and they had to go ahead and fuck it up. Talk about good parents huh? "This'll Be Great Nita" My Step Dad Luke Brings Me Out of My thoughts..bastard "Yeah if you say so Luke" I say sarcastically, I look up from my window to see my mom rolling her eyes at me.. she can be a pain in the ass some times.. it's whatever. "You know Anita you don't have to be so rude, besides you'll like Luke's home it's big and beautiful with a pool and a amazing view of the city" my mom says. "Sure Lacie" I Say my mothers full name..She didn't care anymore sadly Ever since my dad died she didn't give 2 shits about what I did.We Finally Arrived At Luke's Place..And I'm Not Gonna Front It Was Big As Hell It Looked Like A Mansion For Sure It Had To Be. Luke Parked In The Most Longest Drive Way I've Ever Seen,Hopped Out And Started On The Bags.Just As I Was About To Get Out My Mom Stopped Or Should I Say Lacie Stopped Me And Said ;
"You Know Anita Luke Has Done A lot For The Both Of Us Since Samuel Died The Least You Can Do Is Appreciate Him" I Stared At Her For A Moment Before Saying "Now He Is Samuel? Sheesh Mother You Are Truly Pathetic" And With That I Got Out The Car Grab My Suitcase From Luke And Ran Inside To Find The Farthest Room From Them As I Could Which Was A Room In The Attic But I Didn't Care I Just Carelessly Removed The Plastic From The Bed And Laid There Thinking. *Did She Really Go From
My Loving Late Husband To Samuel? Who The Hell Did She Think She Was? Like "Samuel" Didn't Do Anything For Her I Hated My Mom But I Hated Luke More I Mean Who Did He Think He Was? Trying To Replace MY DAD And Lacie Just Let Him..God I Missed My Father,He Was The Glue Of Our Horrid Family He Kept Us Sane And From Killing Each Other.* I Was Interrupted From My Thoughts When I Heard Luke's Voice. He Came Inside.Nobody Told Him To. "See You Got Settled Pretty Nice" He Said Referring To The Bits Of Plastic All Over The Floor Due To Me Pulling It Off.I Simply Nodded Trying To Keep It Short And Simple Hoping To Get Him Out Sooner. "Well I Came Up Here To Here To Talk To You..See I Know You're Uncomfortable And I Know Everything Is Going Too Fast For You..Your Dads Accident,Your Mom Moving On,The Wedding&The Move.But I Want You To Know I Want Us To Be A Family Nita..I Have Much Love For You And Your Mother And I Want Us To Be The Family I Never Had. I'd Never Do Your Mother Wrong Nor You I Just Want You To Give An Old Guy A Chance" He Said Causing Me To Smile At Him I Maybe I Was Being A Little Too Hard On Luke I Mean He Wasn't A Bad Guy...Maybe I Should Give Him A Chance.. "What Do You Say Nita?" He Said Causing Me To Look Up At Him.. "Sure Luke" I Said With A Smile " Good Let's Hug It Out?" He Asked I Nodded As He Pulled Me In For A Hug. We Stayed Like That For At Least 4 Minutes When He Pulled Away And Told Me Dinner Was Ready And We Were Having My Favorite Thai Food. I Smiled And Followed Him Down The Stairs To The Kitchen.When I Saw My Mother I Instantly Ran Up To Her And Hugged Her..She Was Taken Aback
But Soon Enough Hugged Me Back. Soon Luke Came In For A Squeeze. Maybe This Wasn't Going To Be So Bad After All. I Pulled Away To Sit At The Table And Begin On My Plate They Followed Right After.We Sat At The Huge Dinner Table Eating And Laughing And Talking When The Loud Sound Of The Doorbell Rang. Luke Jumped up surprised and told us that he invited his boss and his wife and his son over for dinner but forgot to mention to us. My mom told me to go get some extra plates from the kitchen set the table up for a couple more guest which I didn't mind doing while I was in the kitchen looking through boxes to find extra plates and silverware for I guess I heard Luke's bosses voice it was rough and raspy then I heard A delicate ladies voice which I thought had to be had his wife I was getting ready to bring the plates that I had one more voice which I knew only person was left with the son his voice was deep and slow but he had somewhat of a British accent with it it was very handsome. As I walked out with the plates and silverware on top I almost dropped The plates when I saw his face. He stood there tall with his hands behind his back he had Emerald Forest green eyes, he was wearing tight black skinny jeans ripped at the knees and a loose white fitting T-shirt with a little tiny shiny cross hanging from his neck. *Im In Love* I said to myself when I was broken from my thoughts when my mom snapping her fingers in front of my face "Nita stop daydreaming and set up their plates already" She giggled. I couldn't help but to blush I what she said in fact I was daydreaming he was so handsome I couldn't take my eyes off of him as a set up their plates I make sure to put his right next to mine so I can sit there and stare at him all throughout Dinner. Once I was finished I decided to introduce myself "Hello I'm Anita James" i extended my hand to Luke's boss. In which he gladly shook back "Hello Anita I'm Paul Luke's Boss This Is My Wife Anne And Our Son Harry" *Harry What A Name* I thought but all I did was extend my hand to the wife and son harry. We all sat down to finish our dinner and all I can do is steal glances at the beautiful son when he talked and smiled his right cheek would show his dimples. I decided to catch one more glance at him before I went to put my plates in the kitchen and clean up just as I was about to look at him I caught him staring at me with a smirk, I couldn't help but to blush. Excuse myself for the dinner table when Paul Luke's boss said " Harry why don't you help Anita clean up, you guys are around the same age might be going to the same school..here is your new friend Anita" He smiled. I looked over to see Harry staring down his dad is if you didn't want to. I said it was okay I could clearly see Harry and want any part to do with me but his dad insisted and once with movement Harry got up and started collecting the plates and heading towards the kitchen I followed him soon after with the drinking cups. I set the dishes in the sink and prepare the water for me to wash them "I wash you dry " I chocked he didn't even look at me all he did was not Swifty grab a towel and sit on the other end of the sink.I began washing the dishes and sitting them in the side and he rinsed them and dry them putting them in the cupboards. After we done he dropped the towel and walked back out to the dining room where both of our parents was still having a very heated discussion hey decided to turn back on his heels and walk back inside of the kitchen sitting up on the counter. I was still straightening up the counters when he looked at me I looked back at him and asked him what was it what is something on my face? All he did was smirk and shake his head. Couldn't help but to get agitated with him. From the side of my I caught him looking at me again I snapped at him and said " WHAT THE HELL IS IT ? god didn't you ever learn is not nice to stare?". "Didn't you ever learn it was not nice to stare?" I looked taken back but I knew what he was referring to he was a friend to earlier in the night when I kept stealing glances at him. I shook my head and headed up to my room. I laid they're waiting for the company to leave when I heard a knock on my door "Come
In" I groaned tired and not wanting to be bothered the door creaked open " Nice room you got here" a deep yet sarcastic voice came from my entrance of my room. I snapped my head up to see the curlyhaired rude boy at my door I siding sat up " What the Hell is it ?" I asked getting somewhat annoyed with this beautiful boy. "Your parents told me to come up here and try to make friends with you but to be honest I'm not really interested in that" he said stepping in and closing the door quietly. " umm what you doing ?" I asked dumbfounded but deep down I knew what he wanted...hell I wanted it too but it wasn't going to happen. "you know exactly what I'm doing Anita" He Laughed. "mhm I do..now get out" I said pointing to the door. " Or ?" he asked not so jokingly "Or I'll Scream" I said with a stray face one God knows I wanted to burst out in laughter. He threw his hands up and surrender and walked out of my room not without giving me a small wink first. After that I was left in my room alone. I decided to get up and take a shower and get ready for bed,as I walked down to the second floor to use the bathroom I stopped in my tracks when I heard my mom and Luke talking " so what did Nita say?" I heard my mom ask "she was cool with it we made up my let her know how I felt we hugged it out it was a real genuine father daughter experience" he chuckled. " that's amazing luke" my mom said but I just knew that she was cheesing like a big idiot. I felt a little warm inside knowing that I had made my mom happy and made up with Luke,even though he still never take my father's place and my father was on my mind 24 seven Luke was a good guy and he was genuine and I felt like the words you said to me earlier was true . I smiled as I walked inside the bathroom and turned the shower on slipping out of my gray sweatpants and white tank top I stepped inside of the warm shower letting the cool water hit the back of my neck and I sighed. I finished my shower in under 30 minutes at hopped out and threw an oversized t-shirt and some baggy basketball pants underneath. I can't my hair up into a high bun and ran back upstairs to my room just a late day I stared at the ceiling for what seems like forever I thought about had just six hours ago I hated it here I wanted to be with my father and I was tired of my mom and my life in now I had met the most cutest boy ever meet up with my stepfather and my mother and all in just six hours. I felt good and with those last thoughts I drifted off to sleep.
