Heather " oh Mr. Hudson I was just looking for Anna"
Mr.Hudson " is Anna the one who sat beside you in class today ?"
Heather walking toward the door " yah it's ok I'm just gonna call her"
Mr.Hudson"ok than have a good day"
Heather" yah you too"
Than I realized that i he knew my name even tho I never talked in class but again I'm known by everyone in school but how ? He didn't even remember Anna and she kept talking in class even though it's the first day.
Anna;" whatcha you doing ?"
Heather" hmm nothing I'm gonna go home"
Anna in a mad tone of voice " what ok bye"
Heather "come on I have to go my mom is waiting for me and you know how strict she is bye bae talk later ok ?"
Anna"ok"
I was home doing my homework and I couldn't even think straight
The next day I woke up early to do my usual routine than I got a call from Anna saying she's gonna come and pick me up to get coffee before we go
Phone call
Anna " hey I'm here"
Heather "ok will be there in 2"
Anna with a serious tone "ok hurry I have something to tell you"
Heather getting in the car" what's up tell me"
Anna laughing " nothing much I just wanted you to come faster"
Heather "I was running you made me worry "
(10 min later)
Anna " you get us coffee I will go to school I need to talk to mr. Cooper before class starts"
Heather " ok I will meet you in school than.... oh and take my bag with you so I can hold the coffee
Anna " ok go"
In Starbucks
Heather " hi, can I have two tall lattes please"
barista " that will be 8.75$"
Heather looking for her Wallet " I think I forgot my wallet at school could you wait a second my school is near?"
Barista " oh .. ok.....
"it's ok here
I looked at the hand that was holding the money and I looked at the face
with a surprised face "oh... Mr.Hudson you don't have to do this School is less than a block away I can go thank you"
Mr. Hudson " oh no I insist it's only a couple of dollars"
Heather with an embarrassed face "but.. you gonna have to promise me that you will take it back!"
Mr.Hudson"ok if that's gonna make you feel better"
Heather " yah that will"
I got my coffee and he got his and we were walking to school together it was kind of awkward in a way but it felt good even tho I know I'm not supposed to do that and I felt guilty too
Mr. Hudson opening the door " ladies first"
Heather flashed a smile " oh .. thank you"
He smiled back and it's like the world doesn't exist I thought only his eyes were the most beautiful thing until he smiled
I walked in and Anna was in the way as always ruining the good moment"
Anna " what took you so long" than she sow Mr.hudson and give me that look with her brow lifted up if she was asking me what happened
Heather with a smile "whattt ?"
Anna " really !"
Heather " where is my beg ?"
Anna "in your locker.. tell me what happened"
Heather told Anna what happened
Anna " smart ass don't forget your wallet again!"
Heather " do you have change for 20$"
Anna " no ask the front desk !"
Heather " I asked they didn't have any, it's ok let's go to class"
(After the class)
Heather handing Mr.Hudson his money back "here thank you"
Mr.Hudson " what.. but that's 20 we agree on the money back not double it !"
Heather " I didn't have change! "
Mr. Hudson "it's ok you don't have to"
Heather "but you said...
Mr.Hudson" it's ok next time"
Heather "ok"
Mr.Hudson " Heather....where are you from?.. if you don't mind me asking ?"
Heather " no of course I'm from Saudi Arabia but been here most of my life"
Mr.Hudson surprised tone "saudi !!!!"
Heather " yah not a lot of people from here know where that is surprised that you do !"
Mr.Hudson " yah.... me too .... I mean I do know where that is but your name it's not an Arabic name ?"
Heather:" yah it's my English name"
Mr. Hudson " oh I see"
Heather" I have to go to my next class see you later"

When I told him I'm Saudi everything changed he seemed shocked ..is he one of those racist people ?!
Walking to my next class and wondering about what just happened

Heather " do you think Mr. Hudson is a racist ?"

Anna " no it can't be I heard Mr. Cooper saying that Mr. Hudson was a Muslim!!!
