Reyna's Killer

A Brutal Feast

  Reyna sighed a bit as she walked down the lonely path she almost always took home from work, brushing her long black locks out of her chocolate brown eyes. She shivered a small bit in the chilled autumn air as she pulled a jacket on over her tanned skin and looked around for no real reason, enjoying the peaceful walk home.
  Feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket, Reyna looked down to check the message and began typing out her response, not noticing the little girl in the dark robe until she almost ran into her.
  She stopped short and looked down at the seemingly abandoned little girl. "Are you alright, sweetheart? What are you doing out so late?" She asked gently.
  The girl sobbed quietly and mumbled something about her mother. Reyna sighed a bit and looked around. "We'll find her, sweetie," she promised as she ushered the girl to walk along with her down the path that took them deeper into the forest.
  She turned to ask the girl a question and noticed she had stopped crying. She now wore a wide, sinister grin on her deathly pale lips.
  Before Reyna could speak again, a cold wire wrapped around her throat, then her arms, then her legs. The barbed wire tightened and squeezed Reyna, cutting into her skin. The tight hold on her skin made it impossible for her to scream or even breathe. She was soon tugged to the ground by the razor wire and she could feel her shirt being opened by tiny, cold hands. Her chocolate eyes fixed on the girl now cutting into her chest and she tried to scream again, both in pain and fear.
  Only a minute later Reyna was laying still on the unpaved path of the forest, her heart missing and her limbs ripped to shreds by razor wire no where to be found on her.
  The little girl in the black cloak walked along and ate the heart without staining her lips or clothes, the wire wrapped around herself once again.
  It wouldn't take long for them to find Reyna. She was pretty and had a job. They would find her by the end of the week; although the birds had already started pecking away at her corpse.
