Lillian POV

Ten years went by since Harry and I were dropped off at the Dursleys'. Today was an important day for the Dursleys' it's Dudley birthday. Yay, not. I woke up to Aunt Petunia screaming at Harry, "Get Up! Get Up! NOW!" I got up and dressed in my dark green dress with a black belt, silver high heels, and my emerald and silver earrings, necklace, and bracelet. Then I walk over to my vanity put on candy apple lip-gloss, and slipped in my phone, ear buds, a book, and 50 pounds in my purse, then grabbed Dudley's present (I pick it up at a yard sale). I started walking towards the stairs; when I saw Dudley storm right back up and start jumping and the stairs screaming, "Wake up, cousin! We're going to the zoo!"

"No need to shout, Dudley I'm right here." I sass him, but get ignored as he runs down the stairs and shoves Harry back into cupboard. I rush down to the cupboard to check on Harry.

"Hey Harry? Are you okay? Did he make your head bleed again?" I inquire?

"I'm fine Lily, and no I'm not bleeding." Harry replies.

"Okay, then let's go and put a fake smile on and make them think I actually care what they think." I say with fake enthusiasm.

"They're not that bad when they come down to it, they do give us a place to stay and food to eat."

"They may do that but they treat you horribly!" I argue.

"But they you treat amazingly! So let me be the older brother for once! I'm fine with they way they are to me as long as they're good to you." He declares.

"Fine, but I've been save up money, so when we need to we can leave." I state.

"Oh, here he comes, the birthday boy!" squeals Petunia.

"Happy Birthday son." Uncle Vernon bellows.

"When don't you just cook breakfast and try not to burn anything." Petunia sneers.

"Aunt Petunia, would it be okay if I help made breakfast it make Dudley day even more special?" I ask.

"Of course darling, that so thoughtful of you." She declares happily.

After we're done making breakfast and Dudley cries about not having enough presents then we're off to the zoo, and head to the reptile house. We walk towards the big snake they have. But he's just sleeping to his cage and Dudley became irate that it's not moving and screams, "Make it move!"

Vernon knocks on the glass and hollers, "Move!" as Dudley bangs on the glass yelling "MOVE!"

Then Harry shouts back, "He's asleep!"

"Dudley, leave it alone it's not going to move any time soon." I reason with him.

"He's boring!" he announces as the Dursleys walk away.

"Sorry about him. He doesn't know what it's like being there day after day watch people press their ugly faces in on you." Harry confesses.

"Harry you do realize you're talking to a snake?" I question him.

Then the snake winks at us, "Can you hear us?" we ask it and it nods. "It's just, I've never talked to a snake before" Harry admits.

"Do you? I mean, do you talk to people often" I inquire as the snake shakes its head no.

"You're from Burma, aren't you? Was it nice there?" I start and Harry finishes, "Do you miss your family?" then the snake moved its head towards the sign "Bred in captive".

"We see. That's us as well. We never knew our parents either." We confess.

"Mummy, Dad, you won't believe what this snake is doing!" Dudley shouts as he pushes Harry to the ground and also me as while. Both harry and I start glared can Dudley as the glass disappears and he falls in. Harry smiles and the snake starts coming out of the cage towards Harry and I.

"Thanks." He hisses.

"Anytime." we say as I help Harry off the ground. I look over to where Dudley fall over and he's stuck in there!

Then he starts yelling "Mum! Mummy! Help me!" As Petunia screams her head off and run on to the glass shouting, "My darling boy! How did you get in there?" I fake a concerned face and walk up to the glass as Vernon walks over to Harry. Garbs him by the ear and heads to the car.

Once we get the house Petunia is coddling Dudley and Vernon yacks Harry's hair and interrogates him "What happened?"

"I swear, I don't know!" Harry replies. Vernon growls and Harry continues, "One minute the glass was there and then it was gone, like magic!" Vernon shoves him into the cupboard then shouts, "There's no such thing as magic!"
