It was a gloomy day in Hawkins. No birds chirping, no children running around. The clouds moved quickly through the sky. At the Wheelers house Mike lays still in his bed. Thinking about her.

~Mikes POV~

I lay in my bed staring at the ceiling.
I should of done something. Im sure there was 'something' I could of done. I haven't gone to school in days. How could I? I'd end up crying in front of my hole class. Troy and James would only make it worse.
"Honey?" My mom walks in without knocking, she never does. I dont answer because I know my voice would crack and end up crying. I sit up and look at her.
"Would you like anyth- What is that awful smell?" She looked over at the dirty clothes and dishes from the past week.
"Michael Wheeler, you are going to clean this room today" she said sternly and put her hands on her hips. I watch her walk out of the room hopping over the piles of dirty clothes. I let out a long sigh and look at the room. She was right, it was messy. I get up and start picking up the clothes. After a couple minutes of that, I grab all the dishes and walk I to the kitchen.
"Hey Mike, haven't seen you out here in a while" My dad laughs and lifts his hand up for an high five. I take a long look at his hand and walk right pass him. I gently place the fishes in the sink and I start running back to my room. Before I get there my mom steps infront of me
"Hold on, you are going to school tomorrow. You haven't been there all week!" I groan and push past her walking into my room slamming the door behind me. I lay back down and look over at my alarm clock and see that its only 1:00 pm. I shut my eyes and 'Sleep' for a couple minutes.
"Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike" I hear coming from under my bed. I jump but then realize its my super com. I peek my head under my bed and pull it out.
"What." I answer sounding a bit bitchy.
"Why aren't you ever at school?" Lucas replies.
"I just dont feel like it" I snap back.
I hear Lucas' sigh and he turns his off. I turn mine off too and I lay back down and I fall asleep.

-5:00 pm-

I wake up and look out the window, still a bit sunlight so I decide to go for a quick walk to clear my mind.
"I'm going for a walk mum" I say getting my shoes on"
"Okay, I'm glad your getting out of the house instead of sitting in that stinky room of yours" She says and pinches her nose. I start walking down the road until I reach Murkwood (Mirkwood? Idk how to spell it)
I get a tingle going down my spine when I walk down the road. I reach Will's house and I start walking faster hoping he doesn't see me. I get to the woods and I look up. Still bright enough so I start walking through the woods. I stop when I hear other footsteps and I look around. I see two boys about my age and I know exactly who they are.
