Evelyn was a student at Livolia High School. She often daydreamed about flying free, not being trapped inside boring school, and being able to conquer the impossible. Her imagination was always running wildly, but it was unfortunate for her because she never got good enough grades. Some kids teased and taunted her because of this, and she wasn't always happy.
Then she heard of Amber, a beautiful girl with straight A's in school and knowing that there was someone so great, made her feel small. Shortly after, they became very good friends, and Evelyn found that sometimes, it doesn't matter about how pretty someone is or how many A's they got in school, it was just about friendship.
Then came Johnny. He was a tall, thin boy with cold, gray eyes that looked as if they could see right through your soul. He looked dead inside. Everyone thought he was so strange and he didn't have any friends, but he seemed perfectly fine with it. "I have other friends," I'd overhear him say when kids bullied and made fun of him.
