"Dad!" a young girl yelled as she ran towards her parents. They quickly looked over, thinking something was wrong but instead, they were both tackled into a hug.
"Is everything alright?" The red head asked.
"Are you hurt?" The blunette asked. They both sounded very worried. They couldn't tell if she was happy or sad because whenever she cried, she sounded like she was laughing.
"Guess what! Wait, there is no time to guess! I was accepted! The local swim team accepted me! I'm going to be a swimmer like the both of you! I promise, I'll become the best swimmer out there!" The young girl squealed into her fathers' ears. They winced but hugged her back tightly.
"We know you'll do amazing. You are the daughter of me and Haru!" Rin encouraged. His young daughter would be amazing. Him and Haru would teach her. They, of course, don't want to crush their little girl's dreams.
"Yes. You'll do amazing. If you want help, we're always here for you."
Ichirouhiko quickly shook her head. "I can teach myself. You know I can!" She let go of her parents and jumped around the living room. "Maybe I'll make it to the Olympics!'
Haru looked at Rin and grinned a bit. "We're sure you will." Rin insistead, grinning a bit as well. "In fact, we know you will." The little girl jumped more at his words.
"Thank you guys! I knew you'd support me!" She tackled them in another hug. "I love you guys so much!"
"We love you too." They both said in unison.

"Wake up already! Ichirouhiko! You'll be late!" Rin yelled upstairs to his daughter.
"Hold on! I'm getting ready!"
"If you keep this pace up, you won't have time to eat breakfast!" Haru called up to her. "And we will not be paying for breakfast at school again!" Haru sighed and looked over at Rin. "What happened to her?"
Rin shrugged. "She used to be so happy to go places and now she just stays up in her room all day." Rin chuckled a bit. "She's turning into you, Haru."
Haru lightly punched Rin in the arm. "Shut up. But, you are correct. She is turning into the teenage me."
"Look who's finally ready. Itchirou, you want some breakfast?" Rin asked.
Ichirou shook her head lightly. "Not hungry."
"This is your first day, try to make some friends, okay?" Rin insisted. She used to have friends when she was younger. She had multiple but, as they got older, they grew apart. She hasn't had any friends for a while. This is why she's always in her room. This is her sophomore year in highschool. Her first day of her sophomore year to be exact.
Ichirou grinned lightly, showing her sharp, shark-like teeth, and turned to her parents. "I make no promises." She turned back around and left her home.
"You know she won't make any on her first day." Haru told him.
Rin nodded. "I know but, it doesn't hurt to give it a shot. You never know what could happen. She could actually meet someone. Maybe even get a boyfriend!" Rin smiled. "Wouldn't that be great, Haru! She'd finally get out of the house! She'd finally do something with her life! Maybe she'd even take up swimming again."
"I still don't know why she stopped swimming."
"Because her friends quit, remember? She said she couldn't swim without them. Said that they were the ones that gave her the strength to keep going. To win all the competitions. I guess in the swimming community she was more like me. Competitive. If she didn't win, she'd throw a fit."
"She wasn't as bratty as you, though." Haru chuckled.
"Shut up! I wasn't that bratty!"
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say. I'm making some mackerel. Care to have some?" Rin shook his head and went upstairs.
"I need to get ready for my job. Can't be late, I might miss an investigation!"
