ATLA: Is it love? Or just friends...

Jet's back

I missed watching Avatar the last airbender, so I went back and watched and decided to write a story. THIS IS A DRAFT 

 Katara'a POV

    We were all out camping, Zuko was taking us to Ember Island to start Aang's firbending lessons. He said his family has an old vacation home there. Sitting around the fire it was quiet, other than the sound of Sokka loudly slurping his soup. 

"Someone's here..." Toph exclaimed standing up

We all stood up in fighting positions. The bushes started rustling... out came a familiar face. 

"Jet?!" We all exclaimed, I  ran up to him tears streaming down my face tightly hugging him. 

"Katara..." he whispered wrapping an arm around me.

"Jet... how are you... like alive?" Sokka questioned 

"Long shot and Smellerbee were able to help me, but sadly they were captured by the fire nation after we got out of Laks Lougi. I got away and came to find you guys. I wa-" He started as something caught his eye "YOU!" He exclaimed looking at Zuko

Zuko looked surprise as Jet let go of me and walked up to him.

"You were the one who got me arrested!" Jet yelled 

"Zuko? You know Jet?" Suki asked

"Zuko? I thought your name was Li?" 

"Um.. about that" Zuko started 

"Li? Zuko is here helping Aang learn firbending" Sokka said 

"I knew it! You are from the fire nation" Jet went on

"He's not only from the fire nation he's the prince" Sokka said 

"Sokka!" Zuko started 

"Katara! Why are you hanging out with this guy?" Jet asked

"He's helping us to defeat the fire lord"

"But... aren't you the prince?" 

"Banished prince" Zuko sighed

After explaining to Jet everything that happened after Lake Lougi, we all were getting into are tents to sleep in.

"Katara can I talk to you..." Jet asked

I nodded by head as he pulled me aside.

"I really missed you..." he said 

"I missed you, too"

"No, but ... Katara.." he sighed "Do you forgive me?" 

"I-" I started... I didn't know what to say. I feel like I do but...

"Katara?" He asked

"I think I-"

"KATARA!" Sokka's loud voice came towards us

"What sokka"

"Aang needs help clea- Jet! Get away from my sister!" 

I sighed... "Jet we'll talk later."

"Yeah... bye Katara" he said softly

It was late... I was trying to get some sleep, but I kept thinking. Do I forgive Jet?  I mean he did some awful things but... what he did at Lake Lougi. And I was able to forgive Zuko and he did even worse things. But, Jet.. he was my first kiss, crush, and maybe even love.
