Felix X Reader

Those words cut like a knife. You knew you couldn't tell him this. Why? Because he would laugh at you. And you did not want that.

-I can't tell you.....

-What?

- I can't tell you.... I just..
You stopped.

-So... You mean you went out in the middle of the night, only to tell me nothing? Yea no. Now you have to tell me.

You kept your eyes on the ground.
-I can't.

You heard a sigh, shortly followed by footsteps.

- Y/n, look at me.

You didn't obey, and did the exact opposite, which was to not move your head as he said.

-I said look at me!
He was suddenly yelling, and you looked up in shock.

-When I tell you to tell me something, you do it! That is an order!

You shook her head.
-I can't... Felix don't make me-

You didn't get a chance to finish before being interrupted again.

-Did I ask for your opinion soldier?! No! Now tell me, and quit wasting my time!

That comment pissed you off, making you stand up to face the tall man in orange and grey armor.

-Oh yea?! Then stop wasting mine!

-What did you just say?
His voice had a threatening tone in it.

You swallowed and shut your mouth.

Felix laughed a annoyed laugh.
-Quit wasting YOUR time?! You are the one who won't tell me why the hell you are out here looking for me, in the middle of the night! I'm wasting YOUR time?! How dare you?!

You kept your mouth shut.

-I'm losing my patience here Y/n! Tell me now, or i will-

-Good night Isaac.
You gave him a glare and walked past him, but were stopped by him grabbing your arm.

-And where exactly do you think your going?!

-I'm going inside, let go!
You tried to drag yourself out of his grip, but he didn't let go.

-I'm not done with you! If you think I'm gonna let you leave without a proper talk, oh, you got it all wrong!

You felt your eyes full with angry tears and looked away to hide it.

-Do you hear me?! All wrong Y/n! I could do this all day, and I will, if you don't tell me what the fuck you-

He was interrupted by you turning your head towards him, and slapping him in the face with your free hand. His head moved in the direction you hit him, and he went all quiet. He didn't look at you, he didn't speak. It was all quiet.

You stopped breathing. "Why the fuck did I do that?!"

He took a deep breath, who was let out through his nose, and turned his head towards you, slowly.

You didn't know what to say. Did you seriously just slap Felix? Oh god, oh god!

He just stared at you, not saying a word, and you stared back.

-I.. I'm so sorry! I don't know what got into me!

Still no response from the man.

-Will you please just... Let go of my arm? I'll go inside, and I'll do something you want later, but right now, I want to sleep.

You tried to move your arm again, but he held onto it.

-Felix just stop. I'm sorry ok, but I don't have energy for this. Please.. Just..

-Don't.
His voice was soft and almost caring. This was a lot different from what you were used too. He had never spoken to you in a soft voice before.

-Excuse me? Was the only thing you could make out and you raised one eyebrow.

-Don't leave. Stay.

You blinked. What was he up to? This was not Felix. Felix was supposed to yell at you, not sweet talk you.

-O-ok?

You could almost swear you saw him smile under his helmet.

-Thank you.

It was quiet for a while before you spoke up.

-I'm sorry about the.. Eh.. Slap in the face thing. Don't know what happened.

-It's ok. I kinda deserved that one, didn't I?

You chuckled.
-Yea. I guess you did.

The man tilted his head at you and looked at you up and down.

-What? You felt a little uncomfortable with him doing that, mostly because you weren't really used to get checked up by guys, and especially not guys like Felix.

-Huh. I never realized how beautiful you are.

You could feel yourself blushing, but thankfully he didn't notice. Thank god for helmets.

-Oh. Thank you...
You smiled under your helmet, even if you knew he couldn't see it.
-That's sweet of you.

-Don't get used to it.
He laughed and you laughed too.

-I won't.

It was awkwardly silent for a while.

-Well.
You said.

-I'm gonna go to sleep. You better get some sleep too.

Before you could do anything, Felix grabbed your shoulders and dragged you into a hug. You stiffened at this sudden touch, and it took you a few seconds to actually know what was happening.

-You told me you wouldn't leave. Don't leave.
He almost sounded desperate, like a little child who just had a nightmare and didn't want his/ her parents to leave the room.

You smiled and hugged him back, drawing in the sweet sense of him.
-I won't. As long as you don't leave me.

-Never.

You stood like this for a while before you broke the silence again.

-Felix?

-Yea?

-I love you.

You felt him smile and hug you tighter.

-I love you too Y/n.
