I looked at her and exhaled. She was like Seth, she could see through me. I shrugged. "I do miss having a baby around. But I am not sure if I want to have another kid so soon. My boys are a handful as it is. And babies don't stay babies long. So, right now I am just enjoying your little one."

"Maybe one day?" She asked.

I looked at her and smiled. "Maybe." Then quickly said, "But you are not to tell Seth, you understand? I do not need him getting his hopes up. For all I know, this could pass."

She laughed. "I swear."

"Good." I breathed. "Cause he is unbearable at times with things like this. Right now, he is letting me be and I want to come to a decision on my own."

She nodded. "I understand. I know how my brother can get sometimes."

I smiled. Just then we heard a man's voice say, "Hello, Melissa."

We both looked up and Scott stood there. We hadn't seen each other since we split. I looked at him at a lost of words. I knew I broke his heart. I felt bad for that. But I was not happy with him where as I was happy with Seth. "Hey, Scott." I only could say.

Rachael then said, "Um, I gotta go to the bathroom real quick."

I eyed her quickly. I didn't want her to leave me alone with him. But I know she felt she needed to let us talk. She quickly walked off as she left Scott and I alone. Then he sat down across from me and said, "I think we need to clear the air."

I began to say, "Scott, look, I know I hurt you but..."

He cut me off. "It's okay, Melissa. I understand now. I needed time to heal to understand that you were right. If we would have gotten married without you loving me, it would have been a disaster and false. You did the right thing, but kinda went about it the wrong way."

"I'm sorry for that." I apologized.

"I know you are. I know you and Seth never meant for things to happen the way it did and never meant to hurt anyone. I forgive you both. Seth is a good guy and you deserve that." He said, sincerely.

I smiled at him. "Thank you, Scott. You are a good guy too. You will find happiness. I know you will."

He smiled at me as well. "I hope so." Then his smile faded and he said, "Look, I'm sorry for leaking the story, I shouldn't have done that."

"It's okay, Scott. It all worked itself out." I said, sweetly.

Then he asked, "And can you tell Seth I am sorry for kicking his ass?"

I laughed. "Well, I think he kinda deserved it. He even thinks so."

He laughed as well. "Glad he didn't take it so hard." He looked at his hands. "I am just glad you are happy." Then he looked at me. "He is a lucky man."

I only smiled as I was happy he let it all go. "You are sweet."

He stood up and said, "I should get going."

I stood up as well and walked over to him. I gave him a hug as he hugged me back. "It was nice seeing you again. And again, I'm sorry for everything."

He pulled away. "It's water under the bridge. Will you tell the boys and Seth I said hi?"

I nodded. He walked away. I sat back down and Rachael walked back over. I knew she watched it all and never went to the bathroom. She asked, "What did he want?"

"Just to tell me he forgives Seth and I and he is happy for us and that he was sorry for leaking the story." I told her.

"Really?" She seemed shocked.

"Yeah." I breathed.

"Wow." She said. "That takes a big man."

"I know." I exhaled. "He is a good man. I wish I did things differently."

She moved a hand over mine that were on the table and said, sweetly, "But it didn't. And it seemed to work out at the end of it all. He seems okay."

I smiled at her. "He does. I'm glad he is okay. I never wanted to hurt him."

"I know you didn't. But you can't help who you love." She smiled.

I just nodded and was happy Scott forgave us. Made me not feel so bad. He forgave Seth and I and that took a lot.

Seth's POV

I got to Lissa's house after work. I was tired. I just wanted to sleep. But I knew her house would probably be chaotic. The boys were at times a little hyper. But I loved her. Hell, I even loved those boys. So, it was worth the chaos. I walked in and right away Josh ran to me, yelling out my name. "Seth! Seth!"

He was always so happy to see me when I walked in. I picked him up and smiled. "How was your day, little man?"

"Good." He smiled at me.

I carried him as I walked into the kitchen. I smelled Lissa's cooking. I loved that she still did that and didn't hire anyone to do it for her or her family. She felt it was important that her children knew something of a normal life. I walked in to see her at the stove and said, happily, "Hey, beautiful."

She looked at me and smiled. "Hey, baby. How was work?" I laughed. And she asked, "What?"

"We sound like a married couple." I chuckled.

She rolled her eyes. "Alright, I will not ask you how was work again." She joked.

I walked over to her and walked up behind her. I still had Josh in my arms and I said to her, "It was long and glad to be home with you guys."

She looked back at me and smiled. I bent down and gave her a small kiss. I used home to reference her house as my home at this point. Wasn't the first time I did. I walked back to the other side and sat down with Josh in my lap. He was at this point attached to me. If I was here, he had to be with me. I got use to it quickly. Then she asked, "So, you know I had lunch with Rachael, right?"

"Yeah." I said.

"Well, you won't believe who I ran into at lunch." She said to me.

"Who?" I asked. My curiosity peeked at this point.

She looked at me and then at Josh. I knew she didn't want to talk about it in front of Josh. I said to him, "Hey, buddy. How about you go play and I will join you shortly."

"Okay." He happily said.

I put him down and he ran off. Then I looked at her and asked, "So, who did you run into?"

"Scott." She said, softly.

"Oh." I was a little taken back as I didn't expect the answer. "What did he say?"

"Actually, he said he forgive us for everything and that he was sorry for leaking the story." She told me.

"Really? He is now okay with everything?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said. "Even said to tell you he was sorry for kicking your ass."

I chuckled. "I deserved it."

"I told him that." She gave me a smug grin.

"So, it was a pleasant conversation?" I asked.

"Yeah. It was. He seems really okay. Which I am happy about. The guilt I still had completely disappeared after we talked. It was something that needed to be done so we could really move forward. I don't feel guilty anymore and he seems really okay. I think we needed this." She said, almost happily.

I got up and walked over to her. I moved my arms around her from behind and said, "That's good, baby. I'm glad you two talked. I'm glad everyone can really move forward now."

She leaned against me as she smiled. "I do love you, Seth."

"I know." I said with a smile. I bent down and gave her cheek a small peek. "I love you too, baby."
