Draco woke with a start. He looked around frantically, searching for something that wanted to do him harm. He didn't find anything.

These nightmares were keeping him awake way too much lately. Draco couldn't find anything to calm him down so he decided to go down to the common room.

The war is over he kept telling himself. You were let down by many, but you're here he told himself again. He, Blaise and some other Slytherin boy were the only ones in Slytherin house who had returned to Hogwarts for their so called "eight year". Very scarce in comparison to the other three houses: Ravenclaw house had almost all the students (who were still alive) back here for eight year, Hufflepuff had half of their housemates back and Gryffindor wasn't doing bad either. If only Draco could find the courage (so Gryffindor) to apologise to Har- Potter. No slip ups he warned himself. Whatever.

When Draco arrived he was surprised to see someone else sitting there. It was the girl who Blaise was currently going out with. She was a seventh year Slytherin, so she was a year younger than Draco and Blaise. Her long auburn brown hair even reached over her hips and her blue eyes had mixture of green in them.

Even though Draco was as gay as someone can be, he wasn't blind. Blaise had picked a fine specimen of woman there.

"Hello Cassie, what are you doing here at this ungodly hour?" asked Draco, approaching her.

"Oh I'm still working on this essay Professor Flitwick gave us, Mister Malfoy." she replied, knowing that Draco hated it when someone called him that. He glared at her for a second and then asked her: "So how are things with you and Blaise?"

"Very good actually, my mother actually approves of him. But that's probably because his mum is rich and he's a pureblood but I don't really care anyways." she told him "Could you pass me that book on the sofa over there, now that you're here, please?"

Draco reached for it and frowned at the name on it "Cassie you didn't steal anyones book did you?"

"What? No, why?" she stood up from the chair she was sitting on.

"It doesn't say your name on here? I mean your name's Cassandra right?" Draco asked, visibly confused. She laughed at him. "No you idiot. My name is far more embarrassing than that." she made a face and threw the book on the table. "Wait, you mean that's your full first name?" he asked, still shaken up.

"Yes, Draco, my name is actually Cassiopeia. Get over yourself. That's the reason why everyone calls me Cassie."

Draco didn't react to that and just stared at the ceiling for a moment, considering it, when the voice of Cassie snapped him out of his thoughts.

"So now you asked me about my relationship with Blaise, I've been meaning to ask you something for a while actually." she paused and then went on, Draco should have felt it coming "How's your pining after Harry? Are you still doing that or have you finally told him? Blaise agrees with me you know." she glared up at him. The blond flustered and turned his head towards the ceiling again.

"Why would I tell him, he doesn't even like me." he spoke.

"Well, Harry seems to think otherwise. He told me he likes you." she went on.

Draco had forgotten that Cassie was friendly with the Golden Trio. Damn it.

"Furthermore, Ronald and Hermione told me that he really really likes you, and that he constantly talks about you in his common room." she continued, and Draco was about to interrupt her when she told him "Speaking of that common room, I happen to know the location and password, don't ask how."
