1. Palaro

Time/Scenario: Palaro 2015

Diana Mae Carlos, one of the top players during the palarong pambansa, is a Pampanga native. She plays volleyball. Her team was part of Pool B which had NCR, WV, CALABARZON and REGION 6.

On the otherhand, Maria Lina Isabel Molde was also one of the brightest names during the said tournament. She was also in Pool B, representing NCR with other big names like Justine Dorog, Jules Samonte, and many others.

It is day 3 of the Palarong Pambansa and by 10:30am, it will be Region 3 vs NCR. And that was the first time Diana, also known as Tots, met Isa. Both of them are captains of their respective teams, which means the first time they conversed and met each other was before the game started when captains are called as protocol for the toss coin and such. Both said good lucks to each others team but Tots, the captain of Region 3, was caught off guard.

Isa, the Captain of NCR.. that was everything in Tots' mind throughout their game. Everytime their eyes meet it is like constant that they smile at each other. They didn't even know thw name of each other, but it seemed like they knew each other for a long while.

In Palaro, it's limited to best of 3. So first team to get 2 sets win. NCR rocked the first set firing all their open hits mostly from Isa and Justine who are their open spikers. Tots on the other side of the net was the lone gunner for Region 3. All she did was spike, block and even give off heavy services. While her teammates are still at state of shock with the power NCR is showing them, all you'll hear is Tots' husky voice shouting "tara guys gising tayo. bawi tayo". The first set has gone very fast with a 25-15 score. Isa and Justine scoring 6 each while tots, the lone gunner from Region 3 scored 9 out of their only 15 points. Before they changed courts....

Isa went near Tots without Tots noticing. And she patted Tots' shoulder saying "galing mo cap! bawi kayo ah." and showing off her smile.

With that, Tots was awakened. She ran to her teammates and did everything she can just to please them to wake up and fight.

It did work. Isa's motivation worked without Tots knowing why and how. Region 3 got the 2nd set with a 21-25 score.

Now they come to a short 3rd set where the captains were again called as protocol. Tots was excited, not only because they still have a chance to win but also, she'll see and get to hear the other captain's voice. Little did she know that Isa wanted it too.

Isa's eye was also caught on point as they met before the game started. She had the kilig feeling that she cant explain to herself. Its unusual because she's having the kilig feeling towards a person whom she doesnt even know..and a girl. But she shrugged it off at once and focused. As the 1st and 2nd set passed she was very impressed by the way the other captain was playing. She has yet to know the name of the other captain but she is in deed very excited to know the latter more.

The game is done. Isa's team won. It was close. 25-15, 21-25, and 18-16.

After the game they went straight to the comfort rooms to change and do their stuff.

Tots was so much in a hurry to change because she wanted to see Isa for the last time and to get to know her name. After changing her clothes, she was looking for her brush in her bag while walking towards the exit of the comfort room when she bumped into another girl's shoulder. She immediately said "ay sorry po" and when she looked up, it was Isa. The reason why she was in a hurry. The girl came out from one of the cubicles already dressed up. Tots smiled at her. Isa smiled in return.

Both didn't know what to say... How to start the convo.... How to address the other.
