September 1971

The alarm clock goes high. Today is September thirteenth, Monday. I wake up scared and with my hand, I knock on the alarm, which stops playing automatically. I open my eyes and see a little light in my room. It's six in the morning. I make my prayers. Yes, I am a Catholic family girl and I have faith in God, including already sang in the church choir before. I get up quickly and open my wardrobe and shot a few pieces of clothes and play in my spacious bed and picked up a pair of comfortable shoes and leave the side of my bed. I enter the eiro banh and do my oral hygiene and then take a quick shower. Then I go to the kitchen and prepare my quick breakfast, which is based on a cup of coffee with milk, two slices of toast with cheese and an apple. I need to go to the grocery store later, buy groceries. I quickly take my coffee and then go into the bathroom again, doing my oral hygiene and a little eye pencil. I look at my appearance through the mirror. Good thing I do not have dark circles under my eyes, nothing like that. I had a beautiful night's sleep. I look at my clear green eyes, my plain black long hairto my waist and my full lips and my light brown skin. There are days that I think ugly, but today I'm presentable. In fact, she wanted to be a blue-eyed blonde, like Mary, Freddie's girlfriend. I turn on the dryer and dry my black hair. I put a little lipstick on my lips. Then I quickly change my clothes and wear perfume. I pick up my purse and my notebook and college book, which I had already dropped off last night and left my room. When I'm on my way to the living room my doorbell rings. Will toward the door, but before opening, look through the peephole d who it is. I see my friend Freddie and smile broadly. Then I open my door and he smiles at me.

"Good morning, my dear Jade," Freddie said cheerfully, kissing me on the cheek.

"Good morning, my friend," he said, smiling at him. - So let's go?

- Come on , my dear. It's already seven in the morning. - He said smiling.

I got my purse and my college supplies. I locked the door of my house and Freddie and I walked quietly towards the subway station. Freddie was actually heading toward the Kensington market on foot, even though he works at a clothing store, on the spot. The store belongs to one of his friends named Alan Mair and Freddie works as a salesman. And he has to open the clothing store, just before eight in the morning. This is his responsibility. Freddie holds a degree in Graphic Design from the prestigious Ealing College of Art at the University of London, but he does not pursue the profession. Freddie's dream is to be a Rock Star and to be very successful in music. He is the vocalist and pianist of a rock band called Queen, who is struggling to make a success. Freddie mora with his girlfriend Mary Austin in a rented apartment in the number of 100 Holland Road, Kensington, W14. I know Mary and they are both really in love. I live down the street from Freddie, in the same neighborhood, but in a house. Freddie is currently twenty-five, recently completed on September 5 and I have only eighteen years old, I completed on February 20 this year,

"Ready for another semester of college, my dear friend?" - he asked Freddie walking beside me.

"Yes," he said, smiling. "Today is the beginning of the second semester of English Language and Literature. I'm loving my course, my friend. King's College is an excellent educationalinstitution. And I studied hard to get the college scholarship. I see my future as a great writer.

"You're smart, my dear. - Freddie smiled - and is sure to be a great writer. Mary and I are sure of that.

Freddie and I have known each other for a year and a half. And we met in an unusual way. Mary Austin, Freddie's girlfriend, works as a public relations officer at one of the UK's most popular youth clothing stores, the so-called Biba Store. Before I was eighteen, my parents always gave me money to buy my clothes at this reputable store. I became a loyal customer of the store and because of that, I made a great friendship with Mary, because she always listened to me very well. One day in the early 1970s, when I was seventeen, I saw Freddie talking to Mary in the store. I ask Mary for help on some clothes and Freddie, all I ask, begins to pound as well which color of blouse to match with my green eyes. At the time, I smiled and Mary said that Freddie was her boyfriend. From that moment, Freddie and I started talking, it was when Mary told Freddie that I lived in the Kensington neighborhood too. It had only been two months since they were dating and living together. I bought my clothes and while Mary was tending to other clients, Freddie and I had a lively conversation about studying at the time I was in high school last year. He asked what course I wanted to study and told him. I commented on my dreams and he gave them his. We went home together and I showed where he lived. He smiled, then, we're practically almost neighbors. From there, a great friendship was born, even with the difference of age. Freddie is seven years older than me. At the time, he commented cheerfully about a band called Smile, in which his college friend Tim Staffell was part, alongside Brian May and Roger Taylor's disgusting. After the departure of Tim Staffell from Smile, Freddie joined his friend as a vocalist and changed the band's name to Queen. From there it was a sacrifice for them to get a decent bass player, they auditioned with six bass players until March of that year, John Deacon joined the band. And now the band is complete.
