They are dancing with each other. Twisting, moving gracefully amongst themselves. Their bright orange bodies are entwined, holding each other until the end.

Gatherings are a big thing in Blind-Mans Hollow, time to be with friends and to celebrate. There isn't much to celebrate here, times are tough, but there's always something small to be thankful for.

Smiles. People are always smiling at gatherings. Most of the time, those smiles aren't genuine. People wonder what other people are hiding, for there's a secret here, and people want to find out.

But there's one person who isn't smiling, not talking to others, just staring at the flames of the fire.

She doesn't want to be here, I can tell, wants to go home and read a book. People tire her, and she doesn't want to hear the gossip of that 'BIG' secret again.

That's all these people want to talk about, the secret about what happened seventeen years ago

The secret that's about to be told...

AUTHORS NOTE:
Hi, guys.
So this part is a bit unclear, but it's just explaining about the people of Blind-Mans Hollow, and a bit of what's going on. It also introduces us to our main character who was described.
Also, the first bit is what the main character was thinking :)

I'm going to write in 3rd person, just this first chapter was the narrator's point of view :)

I hope you enjoy:)
