I always felt accomplished and lucky. Becoming a doctor wasn't easy, let alone being one. My whole life I wanted to protect people and so that's what I did. I chose to become a cardiac surgeon which was a long journey, but in the end worth it. Since I had decided to become a doctor, my mom had been weary on what I did with my hands. Because of this she disapproved of me taking boxing when I was younger. Not only did I take boxing, I took multiple weapon training courses and other forms of martial arts... Not that I've ever had to use it in real life. I'm one of the best fighters I know, not that anyone really cares.

Before I started martial arts I cut my hair really short. It has since grown back into long locks of brunette hair. I have green eyes and long lashes which many people were envious of. I also have a strong jawline and am considerably toned thanks to all the gym visits I paid when I was still in school. I've done a lot of weight training which has always helped with my parkour.

I was walking through the halls of the hospital when I hear loud shrieks coming from the main entrance. Thinking there was an emergency patient, I ran down the stairs and was greeted by something different. In front of me stood 5 men with guns and pocketed knives. They all had black ski masks on and when they spoke their voices were raspy and sharp. The man in the front was holding one of the nurses hostage, and the rest were pointing their guns at patients and hospital workers on the floor. "What do you need, this is not necessary. There are patients here that need immediate treatment or they could die," I said firmly. Finally the man in the front responded, "I want doctor Andrews," He yelled. I took a deep breath and stepped forward. "Here she is, what do you need?" I spoke. "You killed him, you didn't even try to save him. You call yourself a doctor, but you kill people." His voice was shaky. My eyebrows furrowed and I was about to speak when he spoke again, "Don't act like you don't know!" His eyes like daggers. I took a step forward and he gestured his gun against the nurses head. "I will shoot, I will," He mumbled. I put my hands up and stepped back. I looked down to my right to see crutches. I then looked up to see the nurse bite the man's hand. He screamed in agony and shot his gun, skinning the nurse.

Noticing he was unfocused, I quickly grabbed one of the crutches and held it as a stick or sword. The man didn't notice and his men were frantically yelling at the hostages on the ground. I ran up behind the man and hit him in the head. He unconsciously fell to the ground and his men turned around. They circled me and tried throwing punches, being dodged every time. I  swiftly side kicked one of the men in the rib cage, and quickly kicked my leg back to hit the man behind me in the gut. I was then hit on the arm with a hard piece of metal and I fell to the ground. Before they could attack again, I sweep kicked the man who had hit me.

I picked myself up and elbowed the other in the side of the face. I looked up to see the nurse standing horrified in the corner. I then looked to my left to see one of the men was about to shoot. Without having much time to react I lunged toward the nurse hitting her out of the way, and taking the bullet myself.

I dropped to the ground and instantly started choking on blood. I clutched the right side of my chest where the bullet had been lodged. I was quickly losing consciousness but no one could save me. The last thing I saw was the battered men getting up and aiming their weapons.
