Lady Lotus

Chapter 1

"Huh." A woman said. She had bright blonde hair, dark green eyes, and she was wearing a short, and tight black dress. Dead trees surrounded her. No life was in sight. She pick up a dead crippled flower, she brought it closer to her so she could examine it. It didn't look like any flower she'd seen in her life. What kind of flower was this?
"Amelia!" A voice boomed behind her. A man with dirty blonde hair appeared. He was wearing a grey pantsuit with a green and pink tie. "What?? Did you find something?!" Amelia looked excited. "No, but did you? It's almost sunset, and I've heard that creepy things happen in this forest at night." The man looked be hide him and looked back at Amelia. "Pffttt, I doubt it. Plus I heard nothing about that, I just heard that the forest is a great place to find new exciting things!" She smiled. "Xander, I thought you're supposed to be my strong and brave big brother!"
"Whatever, lets just go." Xander grabbed her hand, but Amelia pulled away.
"You're not the boss of me! If you're to scared then go cry to mom. I'm staying here and doing some work for once."
Amelia walked toward a hollowed out tree, when she heard the car engine start. She heard the low pitched hum of the car as it faded away. "What do they know! I'm the only one who does all the work! Ugh, whatever." Amelia whispered. As she took a picture of the tree she heard a snap of a twig. She turned as fast as a cheetah could run. Her eyes wondered around the area. She caught a figure out of
the corner of her eyes. When her eyes adjusted to the dark she realized that the figure look like a human. She leaned a little closer and saw that the figure was staring right at her.
