Have you ever been madly in love?

So much love that when she or he leaves, you are alone...depressed?

Well, this is her story.

Most of the story will be in Annabelle's POV, so when I do switch I will let you guys know of the switch.

In any case...let's get the party started!

Annabelle's POV

3rd March 2045

I opened my eyes and flipped over to my right, stretching my arms wide.

I felt a nudge and nudged back, prompting a sigh from my husband.

"Morning, sunshine. Nice to see you awake so early..." Michael, my husband said.

I sat up and asked him, "What time is it?"

He looked over at the clock on our wall and I followed along.

It was 10:20 am.

And I'm late for work.

Again.

"Crap! I'm late for work. Okay, Michael help me get the kids to school and...and..." I said in a panic, but Michael grabbed my shoulder and rubbed my hair.

"Hey hey...it's okay..." Michael said, but I struggled to get out of bed and stripped my shirt and hopped into the shower.

"Yo Belle, baby! It's Saturday! I was joking, I switched the clock time, really it's 8 am, calm down!" I heard him said from the bed.

I was furious. I stopped the water and grabbed a hand towel, drying out my hair. I stormed out half naked and sat on the bed, bumping his body slightly. Michael had a huge dumb grin on his face and I nuzzled up to him and he grabbed me tight.

"Where are the kids? Are they downstairs?" I asked Michael, while wrapped in his arms. I looked up at him and smiled.

"Yeah, they're having breakfast, some pancakes I whipped up really quick when Anna started whining about not having pancakes for a week," Michael said, getting a smile out of me.

I stood up and faced Michael, still half naked. Michael whistled and I grabbed his arm and pulled him out of bed.

"Come on Michael, let's eat!" I said, grabbing a shirt from the closet and pulled it on, walking out the door and heading downstairs. The familiar smell of pancakes and maple syrup filled the room and it was heavenly. My hair was still slightly wet but I didn't care. It was always a happy day to wake up to happy kids.

Anna had an unfinished plate in her hands and she dropped the plate, causing Eldrich to pick it up and leave the half-eaten pancake on the floor.

"Eldrich, please pick up the pancake as well. Don't leave it on the floor like that," I warned him. Eldrich looked back at me and threw the plate on the floor, sat down and folded his arms.

"El...please don't be like this. You know your sister is watching. Be a good boy and pick it up..." I tried to reason with him, but he's nothing if not stubborn, so he sat there, arms crossed. I sighed, standing up and grabbed Anna from her seat and brought her to the living room to enjoy some television.

It's a usual Saturday for us, when we don't have work or when they are off school. I sat on the couch with Anna and watched some TV. I looked at Anna and thought back to when I first met Michael.

Green eyes. Those....piercing green eyes was all that kept me from sleeping. I remember them so vividly. The same eyes that, who knows, could have been staring at me for so long, admiring them felt so...comforting.
