Well as you can see in the description this is not a diary, it's a journal. So let's get started with this book or whatever you want to call it.
I was a Singaporean kid, named Jeremy, who was obviously borned in here and this year I was in the 5th year of my primary school standard. But with the playing of computer games throughout the whole holidays, I wasn't looking to go back to school, especially when you know that you and your friends are totally not going to be in the same class as you, so it was kind of boring to be alone in the class all by yourself.
It was the New Year and as you know, I wasn't looking forward to school this year but I had only 2 days to pack my items and get ready for school, but because school started at the 3rd of January, I took out my laptop and started playing but before I knew it. My parents started asking to pack. And let me tell you when there is a laptop in front of you and your parent asking you to pack, I'm sure you would take the laptop and start playing. But at the time of that point, there was not a single hope for me to even touch my laptop so it was practically boring the whole day.
January 2nd
Well this day could be the last day for holidays and I thought that my parents would allow me to play the computer. Anyways my parents were out for work and i'm sure i could get a grip of the laptop and play for maybe a few couple hours. But instead of the happy jolly can-play letter, I got this.
Dear Jeremy,
Don't try to touch the laptop or even look at it for a second, well probably you could look at it for a few milliseconds but don't touch it. Anyways I have already booked you a make-up tuition today at 4 pm.
REMEMBER TO GO FOR THE TUITION!
From your parents
See what I mean by this? Of course you wouldn't know that if your not a singaporean kid. So stay for the next chapter of DIARY OF A SINGAPOREAN KID!
