"Daelynn!" my mom called as I rolled out of bed, literally.
"Ouch," I groaned after hitting my head on the nightstand.
"Shit, sorry Dae," my mom said walking into my room, "but you leave in 2 hours, so better get ready, you don't want to miss your flight."
"Okay thanks mom," I said as she closed my door.
I can't believe this is my last day in Hawaii. I remember leaving Kansas and hating my parents for taking me away from my friends, but now I'm not so sure that I want to go.
I packed up the rest of my stuff that I could fit into my backpack and suitcase. Riley had a room for me at her house so all I'll need to do is buy more clothes when I get there.
"Dae! Time to go honey!" I heard my dad yell from downstairs.
I grabbed my stuff and ran out the door. "Bye bye Bentley," I said to my puppy as I entered the kitchen where my family was.
This is gonna be really hard. I don't know how I'm supposed to survive without my family around. Are they annoying sometimes? Yes. But do I love them anyways? Absolutely.
"Goodbye guys, I'll miss you so much," I told them as I gave hugs. Then, I headed to the airport to start my new life, back in Kansas.
