I guess we both got lost in time. You moved forward into the future and thinking about tomorrow, while I was helplessly stuck in yesterday. The wind whispered in my ear of all the promises tomorrow holds. Hesitating to take a step away from what we once were, I found strength in what I could become and the people who help me strive for that girl. Now as I look in the past, I realize I not the person you once knew. In fact, we both aren't. I grew up and found peace within the chaos of my mind. The gentle touch of the wind directed me to the person I'm meant to be, and the person I will one day call mine. I hope it comes for you as well.
