Prologue

Hi my name is Demetrious Vern. I am 13 and I live in New York. That was so until two months ago. On September 20th I got a letter in the mail saying that I was indeed not a normal kid but a wizard. If you have any strange feeling that you are a witch or wizard you have two choices. You can either close this now and forget everything or you can read on and experience what very well might happen to you. Good luck!

My moms name is Lindsey Vern and my dads name is Dennis Vern they have been together for almost 20 years now by simple math you can figure out that they were together seven years before I was born. My mom was a wizard and my dad a muggle or non wizard. When they got married my dad had no idea that my mom was a witch. He was in for a rude awakening at this point. It was only a month into their marriage before things started getting peculiar. There had been many things that my dad didn't know about. One of those was that my mom was a teacher at Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a school of witchcraft and wizardry. It wasn't long before my dad knew because school started in just one week.
