Year 1 - Tier One

This may have been the highlight of my life. The strange events sure gave spice to it. I'm not sure when it started to be such a thrill, but I'm quite certain that nothing was the same once I met Ms. Evergreen.

When I stare off into space and absentmindedly say '..My life has been a lie...,' I mean it. In several ways, at that. Whether it was my name and heritage, or what my future held, my 'parents' decided to make me ignorant to the whole situation just like them.

But before you label me as a 'whiny baby', I must highlight and address everything that has gone well for me and my loved ones. So please stay and join me as I count my blessings.

I guess I should take you back to the year 2017, when I was fourteen years-old. I lived in the suburbs of California. There was a woman who lived next-door to me. She went by Ms. Evergreen, and was overall mysterious by nature.

Normal people would take one look at her and say she's 'out of it' or 'loony', but I knew otherwise. Quite like myself, she was just misunderstood. She believed in the many fantasies, and that they were somewhere far away, but existed.

The inner beauty and sheer strength of this woman radiated off of her like no other person. She would be the first person I would go to in search of sage advice, and really seemed to understand.

As I grew like a weed, I started to see things. Being quite unfamiliar with the set ways of the world, I was more tuned into my surroundings. It was specifically one bird that constantly presented itself to me. It had bright purple feathers with black tips that almost glowed. Whenever I saw it, I was awed by the beauty. Unfortunately, whenever I pointed it out, people couldn't see it no matter how hard I tried to get them to.

There was also a butterfly with the same purple color and black rim. It seemed to come through my window every morning even though I shut it every evening. Sun rays beamed on it like a spotlight, shining through it's delicate wings.

I always told Ms. Evergreen and she was the first to understand. My parents and friends didn't understand, as much as they liked to think they did.

So by conclusion, I always thought I was slightly different. But ignorant I was about the degree by which I could be set apart from the average person.

Well, I was only kept in the dark until I literally woke up in a different bed, surrounded by a bunch of strangers.

I soon learned that there were six other worlds that were filled with different races. They all named themselves the 'humanoids'.

However, they explained that pureblooded humans were denied entry after a war some long time ago. They couldn't have human entry as they feared history would repeat itself in many twisted ways.

And according to them, My name was actually Valerie Amber Kyron, and I was in a place called the strength realm, a place where I would go to school at a place called 'Evergreen Academy'.

I didn't need to worry though because the principle of that school was Ms. Evergreen herself, even though she detested that title, wishing to just be called Victoria.

   So no need to worry.

   Right?

Well she sure didn't tell me it was going to teach me how to use aura abilities in everyday life, and in self defense purposes.
