A/N: I do not have this condition!! I'm just writing about it!!
They laugh at me.
There words hurt.
But I can't do anything
I am trapped.
In my own body.
I'm paralyzed.
Literally.
I can't move.
My problems are big.
I can't fix them.
I can't solve them.
So I wait.
I'm not stupid.
I know things.
I have a brain that works.
My body just doesn't respond.
They way I want it to.
So when they laugh.
When they say cruel things.
An they think I don't understand.
I do and it hurts.
When they laugh.
I understand.
I'm not disabled in every way.
Just one and it's big.
I have amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and I live with it.
It's hard but if other people can do it than so can I.
I wIll be brave.
