"You could've been an engineer!" My mom yelled at me, " MOM! Calm down please!" I was practically yelling at her, " School isn't for me? I'm into acting being loud having fun eating cookies!!" "Lauren I'm only being hard on you because I love you." She said, I tried so hard not to roll my eyes into the back of my head. "Mom you know I have a job now." I told her. "YouTube isn't a job! It's a hobby Lauren you can't live off it!" SHE rolled her eyes at me this time. " No mom I can! I've been doing that for the past year! My food, bills, textbooks, and other this have all been payed for with my YouTube money, mom I can do this and if you can't see that than you don't have enough belief that I can do what I love and make a living off it." My mom was almost in tears. I hooked her, "Lauren it's not that I don't believe in you. It's just..." she took a pause, " I'm not used to these type of things the internet and all... I have a proposal." "I'm listening" "if you and Chloe can live in your own apartment and pay your own bills for a year, you won't have to go back to college." I jumped up and down in excitement and gave her a bunch of hugs saying, "thankyouthankyouthankyou!" At the speed of light, "ok ok!" "Now run along and go tell Chloe." "Ok!" And like that I was in my car driving to Chloe's place.
