An hour past and the girls and I saw an opening to go do the test. We all walked in being stopped by Jared. J" What are you doing" V" Girls buisness". Vicki pulled me out of Jareds arms and dragged me into the bthroom closing the door. Jared shrugged his shoulders then went back outside. I sat on the toilet to do the test as the girls turned around to give me privacy. Me" Ok done" V" Alright we just have to wait a cou...." She stopped and looked at me. Me" What did I do it wrong" V" It's just...it must be faulty. It came up instantly. Lets do another". I did two more and had the same result everytime. I just sat there with my head in my hands trying to figure out what to do. Who's could it be. V" Ok I have another test. I don't know how good it works but you can find out how many weeks you are" E" Yeah with how quick it came up im guessing a few". We did the test and after a few minutes it came up. V" Ok, fuck, 13 weeks what. How could you not know" Me" I've been under a lot of stress. All these new clients". I teach a class now that I have to do two days a week.Me" What am I going to do this makes everything so much harder" V" It will be ok, just wait till tonight when everyone has gone home and tell them" E" We better get back". Vicki put them in the draw and we walked out. I bumped into Constance on my way out. Me" Oh sorry Birthday girl" C" I like how you call me girl it makes me feel young". We smiled at each other then she went into the bathroom. I kept thinking how that smile will disappear once she finds out what I have been doing with her sons.
I went out the back and sat between Jared and Shannon. They had smiles up to there ears it was a good day for them. Surrounded by family, friends and there love, me. Constance came out with a huge smile and hugged Vicki. I saw the tests in her hands my heart went into my throat. C" Oh im so happy for you" T" What" C" Oh im sorry you haven't told him yet" T" Told me what". Tomo saw the tests in Constances hand, He took one. T" Oh my god,you mean, Yes im gonna be a dad" He picked up Vicki swinging her around. Jared and Shannon ran over and tackled Tomo congratulating him. V" Um Tomo" He couldn't hear her. V" Tomo". C" Oh here, there is this one telling you how far along you are". Tomo took it and his faced dropped instantly. V" I tried to tell you, im sorry" J" What" Jared and Shannon both looked at it and saw '13 weeks' S" But she's been checking every couple of weeks hasn't she" T"Yeah". Tomo couldn't hide his disappointment, Vicki hugged him letting him know it will happen. Then everyone looked over to Emma and I, trying to figure out who's it was. I couldn't hold back the tears and ran inside crying. I stumbled as I ran upstairs to Jareds room with Emma and Vicki running after me. C" Im so sorry. I feel like such a bitch" T" Don't worry about it" Tomo answered as Jared and Shannon went after me. T" Lets have a drink". Tomo distracted Constance so she wouldn't go inside.
I closed the door befor the girls got there, running into the bathroom and locking the door. There was no lock on the bedroom door. They were calling for me to open, but I didn't answer. I sat in the bath with my legs curled up, my arms wrapped around my legs and my head down trying to control my cying so I could breath. J" Were is she" V" Jared Shannon just..." S" Don't just leave us" V" I can't do that" J" She is ours we love her more than you will ever know now leave" Jared raised his voice at them both making them leave. S" Charlene please come out, mum didn't mean to do that. She thought it was Vickis". I tried to speak but struggled. Me" It's..not..her..I..I" J" It's ok im actually happy that your pregnant" S" Yeah me too". After a few minutes of silence I got up and cleaned myself up and opened the door. S" There she is" Shannon put his arms out and I threw myself into them crying again. S" It's ok, it's a good thing" Me" But we don't know who's it is" J" That doesn't matter really. Either were a dad or uncle. Still love you the same" Me" Why are you two so calm" S" Cause we are family" J" And now we are having a family".
We sat on the bed with them sitting either side of me, I kissed them both as they held me making the crying stop. Constance walked in as my lips were parting Jareds and Shannon was kissing my shoulder. C" What the" J&S" Mum". They both stood up and looked like a couple of little kids thats did something wrong. I was waiting for them to blam the other for something. I ran into the bathroom, the tears started again. I could hear Jared and Shannon telling Constance everything. Then there was a knock on the bathroom door. C" Can I come in" Me" Yeah" She walked in and closed the door behind her and sat next to me on the floor. C" So your the reason why my boys are happy" I looked at her waiting for her to yell at me and tell me she never wanted to see me again. C" I don't like the situation but it's not my choice. My boys are happy and now I will have a grandchild" She looked at me and smiled putting one arm around me. C" I know your scared. Mostly about what people will think. But we will deal with that later" Me" Ok" I said wipping my tears" C" Lets get you cleaned up". She helped me wash my face then we walked back into the bedroom. Jared and Shannon were waiting for us with smiles on there faces. J" This day just got even better" S" Yeah it did". We went back down stairs to the party and had a great night. Once everyone was gone we were tired and decided to go to bed. Shannon carried me up then placed me on the bed. Jared helped me get my clothes off. Then they both helped me put my pj's on. We all hopped in and fell asleep. I sleep on my side and spend one half the night on one side then the other half on the other. It's perfect cause it means I can give an equal share a hugges to both.
A couple of days later we went to the doctor for an ultrasound. We had to wait in the room a while till the doctor was finished with his other patient. The guys were so excited to see it, but they were so inpatient they started playing around they broke a couple of the doctors desplays as they played with them. The doctor walked in as they were trying to put it back together. J" Um Shannon" He said hitting him trying to make him stop and look. S" What" He turned and froze. They pointed at each other, it made my laugh. The doctor laughed too. D" It's ok it happens all the time". They put down the rest of the piecec they were still holding and came over to me holding each hand, as the doctor was putting the gel on my belly. The doctor made a couple of sounds as he looked at his screen. J" Is there something wrong" S" It's not deformed is it". Jared and I looked at Shannon like it was a stupid thing to say, then looked at the doctor to find out if that was true. D" No they are fine" Me" They" D" Yes twins". Shannon and Jared both let go of my hands then I heard two big bangs. They both fainted.
