Just One Wish...

Chaper 1

"MOM IM COMING! HOLD ON I HAVE TO PUT ON MY NEW PAIR OF SHOES" I said. "Ok well you have to hurry up! The bus is right on top of the hill!!" Said mom. I woke up late... again. I should of went to sleep earlier because today is the first day of school. "Mom did you make my sandwich?"I asked. "Yes I did. Take it fast! Hurry! Have a great first day!" Said mom. I ran outside and hopped right onto the bus and sat next next to my friend Lisa. Today is the first day of 8th grade. I can't wait to see my squad: Elizabeth, Laura, Sky, Isabela, and Analyse. I am a very popular girl in school, but I'm not a snobby mean girl, I'm a nice chill girl. I'm actually a little bit nerdy. I read books and study hard in school, I was in high honors since 6th grade. My friends call me Lily. Ever since I moved to Houston TX, 4 years ago, I have always had good luck. I never really had any bad luck. I know this year is my very lucky year because 2016 is my lucky number. Yes, I have a lucky number. When I moved to Houston, I met this guy at a farm, he had lots of cattle and other animals on his farm. He was having a giveaway. He had a soup pot with pieces of paper with numbers on them, he said that if you picked the number "2016" then you win a free bunny. I picked the right number, and I won a free bunny! I named her Cocoa. She is my good luck charm. "Are you ready for the first day of school?" Said Analyse. "You bet I am! This is my lucky year, because 2016 is my lucky number." I knew this year was going to be great.

As soon as I walked into school, papers were flying in my face, kids were screaming in my ear, and all I saw were "Welcome Back" signs. I went into my Homeroom class which was my teacher 'Mr. Hernandez'. I walked in and saw Laura. Yay! I saw another member of my squad, I need to see the rest of them. Laura and I sat next to eachother and talked about how this year was going to be great. I got assigned a locker '328', I went to it and saw Sky. Sky's locker was right next to mine, her number was 329. During the rest of the day, I saw all my friends and I had an amazing day. I have expirenced a food fight. My squad and I were sitting at the table eating lunch, and then these boys just starting throwing tomatoes at eachother. SPLAT! We rushed out of their and watched them from the doorway. "HAHAHAHA" We laughed.My social studies teacher 'Mr. Rivas' bent down to get his pen that fell, and farted! The whole class was laughing. Isabela was with me. We felt kind of bad though because the students were making fun of the teacher on the first day of school. But other wise, so much funny things happened today.

I went home and fed Cocoa. Cocoa had lovely thick brown fur. Her fur was very soft, her head was the softest. I always petted her head, that was her favorite place to be petted. Cocoa is my lucky bunny. If I lost her, I would be in bad luck, like literally. Cocoa has been keeping me company ever since my sister Alexa went to college. She goes to college here in Houston, but I can't see her every day. I see her every weekend. I heard my mom coming through the driveway, I put Cocoa back in her cage and cleaned up the rabbit food, then I waited at the door with a smile to greet my mom on her first day. She is a 4th grader teacher at an elementry school.  They call her 'Mrs. Ramos'. Yes, Ramos is my last name.  " Hi honey! How was your first day of school?" Asked mom. "It was amazing! So much hallarious things happened! I got to see all my friends and 2016 is my lucky number, remember? So I'm sure this is going to be my lucky year." I said. "That is great honey! Do you want to get some dinner? I'm hungry, aren't you?" Asked mom. We went to get dinner a little later on when dad came home. We ate as a family. Time flies, by the time I knew it, it was 6:45 when I got home. I jumped in the shower, brushed my teeth, kissed Cocoa goodnight, and went to bed. I was looking further for 8th grade... 2016. :)
