Movie Night (Kim Taehyung X Reader)

You woke up next to your boyfriend, Taehyung. It was a Saturday morning and you decided to wake your boyfriend up and go shopping with him. Before you did that, you made him a simple breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon and two heart shaped pancakes with syrup. Since the day you introduced the dish to him, he's been asking you to make it again for him as a special treat. You opened the door to your bedroom and found him lying on the bed, checking the messages on his phone. He was startled by the sound of the door creaking as you stepped inside the room, wearing your pyjamas covered by a fluffy housecoat. You slowly walked over to his side of the bed and gave him a kiss while he sat up on the bed and combed his hair with his fingers. You placed the breakfast on the side table and walked over to your dresser to pick out clothes for the both of you. Taehyung smiled while he looked at you and the breakfast you have made him. While he was eating, you decided to go to the bathroom and freshen up. When you got out, Taehyung was already dressed and ready to go. Taehyung asked you;

"Where are we going today, Beautiful?"

You smiled at his words and quickly replied with; 

"The supermarket, We need to buy some food because someone decided to stay home while I was at work the other day and make a mess!"

He giggled when he was thinking about what you said. Then he picked you up bridal style and took you to the front porch. You begged for him to put you down so you can get your purse and shopping bag. While you were doing that, Taehyung went to start up the car and wait for you. You got into the car and he drove to the nearest supermarket. 

Taehyung usually doesn't go with you when you go shopping because he's lazy and he becomes a nuisance at times. This time you wanted to spend some time with him and let him help you shop. You two got a cart and let the fun begin. He asked you if you wanted to do a movie night with him, and you agreed with the biggest grin on your face. He decided to get three tubs of vanilla ice cream and two packets of popcorn. You two walked to the cash register and the cashier looked at you in a certain way, as if she wanted to ask what you were going to do with the ice cream. You paid for the items and drove back home. As you walked in, you realized Taehyung has disappeared. You didn't care much because you knew he was hiding or doing something somewhere. About an hour later, he came out of the garage and got two enormous wool blankets. You stared at them and Taehyung was smiling like an idiot. He put them down on the sofa and took the three tubs of ice cream with him. You ignored the fact that he did that and went to the bedroom and made the bed. Even though you loved your boyfriend, you hated the fact he was super messy. Other than that he was the best man you've ever dreamed of. It was already dark outside, so while you were chilling in the bedroom Taehyung decided to call you down for a surprise. Taehyung had laid all of the blankets he found neatly on the sofa, and had made a giant ice cream cake. You face palmed. The cake was about two feet tall and weighed about 10 kilos. You stared at it in awe. It was covered in whipped cream and chocolate sauce. You decided to take a small slice from it and secretly eat it while he wasn't looking. At least he had cleaned up the mess he created. When you sat down on the sofa, Taehyung got a slice of the cake for him and yourself. You enjoyed it very much and he saw the joy on your face when you put a piece of the cake in your mouth. He decided to put on a self made movie of his. You knew it was going to be very good since he was a movie director. He sat down next to you, with a little box hidden in his left pocket. The screen went all black and the movie started with your name.

"(Y/N)"

"We've been together for eight years now, and it's been the best eight years of my life."

"You're so sweet, kind and amazing. You make me so happy. Ever since I've laid eyes on you when we first met, my feelings haven't changed a bit."

"You make me feel like the happiest man alive."

"I have a question I've been wanting to ask you for a long time"

"(Y/N).."

"Will you marry me?"

As the words on the screen popped up, Taehyung was already on one knee holding the box he's been hiding from you for a week. You stood up in tears, looked at him while he asked;

"(Y/N) Will you marry me"

You cried in front of him with happiness. You screamed out a happy "Yes!" and hugged him while kissing him on the lips. It was the happiest day for the both of you. The man of your dreams finally said the words you've been wanting to hear from him for almost a decade. You were indeed the happiest girl in the world at that moment, and were extremely grateful to be sharing that moment with the man you love the most.
