The Shadow Spider

On a calm warm night Jessica was walking home with her family after a new year's party but it was so dark that she couldn't even see them. Every time she saw a family member she would run as fast as she could to keep up with them but when she reached the area she saw them they had already walked off. So she had no choice but to follow the street lights hoping to see the house she was staying at. Once and awhile she would feel something brush against her face so she would quickly search her face to see if something was there but every single time nothing would turn up in her hands. One time she was sure she felt something crawling at the back of her neck so she carefully placed her hand on her neck but nothing was there so she kept on walking. When she was close to home she felt a strike of pain at the back of her neck she placed her hand on her neck and rubbed it she felt something small and and soft fall off her neck at that time she realized that she had been bitten by something. When she got home she got ready to go to bed but her neck was still throbbing with pain so she decided to wash it and see if that made a difference, she went to the bathroom and splashed her face then she looked up to face the mirror but something was different her skin started to go grey and everything around her went black she looked down at the water it was the shade of blood she noticed a dark figure behind her. She spun around to find no one there and everything back to normal. "I'm so tired that I'm delusion" She decided to forget about it and walked into her bedroom and laid in her bed pulled the covers up to her neck and closed her eyes. She tossed and turned but couldn't fall asleep, she opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling she couldn't help but wonder what bit her, but then she realised that the ceiling was turning black she ran out of her bedroom and saw the darkness was spreading she ran to her parents room screaming for help she opened the door but to her horror the room was covered by the darkness. She slammed the door shut and ran to the next door. Unfortunately she didn't realise that it was bathroom she locked the door and prayed that the darkness wouldn't get her, she looked deep into the mirror and saw the dark figure creeping up behind her with the darkness following it, it's words were so direct but so soft "come with me" it spoke while it held out it's hand "I'M NEVER GOING WITH YOU" Jessica snapped " YOU MUST! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE..." it took a deep breath in "would you rather stay here? or come with me?" it asked "where?" asked Jessica "to the shadow realm!" it answered "WHY SHOULD I TRUST YOU!" She shouted "because I need you to help me I'm not going to hurt you because I need you in my world, alive! He said Jessica didn't have a choice she had to go with him otherwise the darkness would destroy her, so she placed her hand on the creature's hand and felt the world slowly fall away. She started to feel dizzy and couldn't help but fall to the ground the last thing she saw was the figure who had stepped next to her and placed it's hand on hers. Next thing she knew the world was filled with the darkness there was no light "welcome to the shadow realm! the creature exclaimed.
