Chapter 1

Mayas P.O.V

I was standing outside my best friends Riley's apartment door. I had to tell her that i'm moving tomorrow. I knew that I was moving for six months.I just didn't have the courage to tell her. She opened the door with her cheesy smile. Hey maya she said. Hi Riles I need to tell you something. I went into her small apartment. all the memories flooded into my mind. We sat down on the bay window. Riley I'm moving to Beacon Hills California I said. There was silence for a few minutes. Maya I found out the exact same day as you she said. When I came to your house that day I heard Bonnie and Damian talking about it she said. I saw a tear roll down her eye. Riley everything will be ok. We can still text and I can visit you and you can visit me I said. Maya it's not just that were going our separate ways. I heard a noise it was Zay, Lucas, Farkle, and Smackle at the window. I opened it they all came in and gave me a hug. You heard I said. yeah said Lucas. Maya what's it like being adopted said Riley. I had trouble answering this question.It made me feel uncomfortable but I answered it anyway.Its strange you want to know why your parents left you and where they are.But at the same time your thankful for someone taking you in.I said. So are Cole and Danny not your actual brothers said Lucas.Cole and Danny are my real brothers I said. Maya where are your parents asked Farkle. I don't know I said. I said my farewells to them all and went back home.

Rileys P.O.V

A few seconds after Maya left I started to cry.She can't just leave I know I pretended I was fine just then but i'm not I said. Riley it's not mayas choice Lucas said. I know but I thought we would be all together through High school. Not just through 10th grade I said. Guys I get this is awful time but i'm moving back to Texas said Zay. What we all said at the exact same time. Zay why are you leaving said Lucas.Well my parents got a job back in Texas. . Guys why is Maya moving she didn't tell me I said.Maya doesn't know why she leaving asked Smackle.  yeah i said. Wait wouldn't Damian tell Maya.Was Damian hiding something from her.I erased that Idea from my head. It was really late so everyone went back home. I went to bed thinking about what High School will be like in two weeks.

Mayas P.O.V

No one shut the window I heard Riley crying. It pained me to see her in tears especially over me. I ran as fast as I could home. Bonnie was reading while Damian and Stefan were playing pool. They knew something was wrong.I told them everything that happened. Cole came down stairs only wearing a boxers and a t shirt.I didn't understand why he still lives with us If he's in college.Cole was moving with us .Danny came down stairs with a finished paragraph about the revolutionary war for his sixth grade summer homework. Stefan I finished Danny said in a very loud voice. Stefan took the paper and seemed very pleased. Nice job Danny your becoming a excellent writer Stefan said. We all watched a movie and then went to bed. The next morning I got in the car. I was going to miss my friends,my school,and all the memories.we pulled out of the driveway a tear rolled down my eye.
