#1 The Dark Sidewalk

Alexis started to walk carefully down a dark sidewalk she was unfamiliar with. There were unknown apartments that looked like they were made out of pure garbage, and dark alleyways filled the streets. 

She kept walking only to stop dead in her tracks. She looked into the distance to find a person in a white nightgown, but it was filled with red spots, and splotches. She looked closer, squinting her eyes to be able to see that far. 

Then the head that was turned 90 degrees away from Alexis' direction, faced her. She saw the person fall on the ground, starting to drag itself across the concrete. The thing was slow at first, but then it was faster and faster, till finally it reached demonic speeds. 

Alexis heard screams that she found seconds later were hers. Then she found that there was the scariest face of a woman, up close, centimeters from touching her eyelashes. She had long black hair, that was in tangles. Her eyes were whitish, as if her eyes were full of clouds. Her skin was as pale as death itself, but was stained with blood. What caused the blood was a big gash on her forehead. 

She was holding a knife in her right hand. Then the knife was put to Alexis' neck, when she felt a little bit of blood, cold as stone, trickle down her neck. 

Then she heard the woman say, "Alexis, your mother has arrived..." That was the last thing Alexis heard, before she found herself awake on a sidewalk, in the middle of the night....

I hope I can become scary enough for you later. This was my first actual horror short story, so feel proud, bitches!! Jk, sorry for calling you a bitch. Anyways!!
